Noa's Den

Ashley looked at him guilty, then Melek continued, "That is why, when Noa decided to get back at that man, I just let him do it and didn't intervene. But I underestimated him." 

Melek sighed as Ashley frowned, "He was not just seeking revenge; he was seeking manslaughter. He even tried to hurt everyone in sight, even his wife and people."

Ashley nodded, "I heard that while arguing with Noa, Odite and their second child got hurt accidentally."

"Yes. And now, that boy is just a fragile and sickly boy. I even thought he wouldn't last for a month, but he did until now."

"Fragile and sick…" Ashley mumbled. Then she looked at him, "Can you tell me what is wrong with the boy?"

"Are you alright, Chief?" Bythe asked Odite inside a steel cage at the centre of Noa's den.

Odite looked at him and nodded, "I'm fine, Bythe."
