Shirley frowned, "Why me?"
"Because I know that you already know the basics of handling the household. You were a noble lady before and a child of a big business."
Shirley sighed, "I'm grateful to you for acknowledging my skills, but it seems you are overestimating me."
Ashley looked at Shirley, who smiled sadly.
"Why not?" Ashley uttered, making Shirley look toward her. Their eyes met, and Ashley smiled at her. "You helped me manage the Grand Duchy with Al and Gramin, and I saw your skills. You indeed know how things work here now."
"B-But, Your Highness–"
"Shirley," Ashley called her name. "You are capable of doing things on your own now. And I know I could trust you in the North with Gramin."
"B-but… I'm a sinner. I should have been exiled to another kingdom, but you brought me here, and now you are giving me a job that does not deserve me," Shirley said sadly.
