Look into the past

Currently, the universe was experiencing a period of rare peace.

Of course, somewhere in the vast universe, there would be some kind of war happening, some kind of death.

Even an evil scheme may be advancing as someone planned.

But as these things didn't affect the universe largely as some things that happened before, many considered this a relatively peaceful time.

From the wars between Asgard and the various realm where races were killed off close to extinction, and the always unpredictable movements of the original serpent the universe was very peaceful compared to those times.

Speaking of Asgard and the original serpent.

The war between Asgard and its enemies had taken a very dangerous turn after Cul had left.

The enemies of Asgard were not foolish, seeing that Cul hadn't appeared on the battlefield for a long time, rumors began to spread.

And these rumors were all Asgard enemies needed to act, they lept on the weakened Asgard like hungry wolves.

And their attack was successful, bearing their fangs they took chunks out of Asgard as quickly as they could.

After the attack, Asgard's prestige had fallen greatly, as it was forced to take a defensive stance.

But was Odin one to take this without doing something in return?

After managing to barely repel the enemy forces, Odin had changed, his arrogance was lowered not as rash as before.

Odin carefully thought of the best solution and carried it out.

This attack could be seen as the birth of the real ruler of Asgard, the All-father.

Odin made a sacrifice of one of his eyes for all the knowledge he could withstand from the well of Mimir.

The knowledge Odin had gained access to had not only given him knowledge on how to prevent the upcoming Ragnarok but also on many different ancient magic and powers.

Even for a God of Odin's caliber, it took him months to digest the new knowledge he had gotten, but this knowledge provided him with what he needed to push back Asgard's enemies.

With Odin stronger than ever and able to use the knowledge he gained to become stronger he was able to force back Asgard's enemies Giving Asgard it much-needed time to heal from it's accumulated damage.

But that was the most he could do on his own.

Odin no longer rash knew this and no longer rushed forward.

He took this chance to let Asgard heal and develop.

The was far from over, but all involved had taken damage and had gone into a period of healing.

Years had passed as the tension between the realms once again reached a boiling point, the war was about to begin again.

But this time it was different, Asgard launched the first attack against its enemies, with Odin and Hela his daughter the Asgardian God of death taking the lead.

Asgard dealt heavy damage to all who would oppose it, all who once sunk their fangs into the weakened Asgard were ripped apart piece by piece as Asgard took its revenge.

In the war Heal made a name for herself as being ruthless as she slaughtered her way through the battlefield leaving rivers of blood in her wake.

With the father-daughter duo, Asgard had regained its lost prestige, some would argue it was higher now than it was before.

But Odin in his new fold wisdom had not stopped there, seeing the benefits of merging with the Asgard sister race, Odin met with their leader putting forward the topic.

And with Asgrards current strength the alliance was quickly accepted and solidified through the marriage of Odin and Frigga.

Not everyone was happy with this development, but it was for the best as things when on.

With the new alliance, Asgard wagged war stomping out all evil thoughts of its enemy's minds.

As time passed Odin stopped wagging war and the nine realms returned to peace.

Hela was unhappy with this decision, and Odin seeing that his daughter was growing more ruthless by the day decided to deal with her.

Hela wasn't weak by no means, as Odin wanted to deal with her, she naturally fought back.

But in the end, she was sealed away as all traces of her were wiped from Asgard.

After this matter, Odin managed to have two sons Thor and Loki.

With all that happen now, Asgard stood tall and powerful, but Asgard was still not considered the most powerful force in the nine realms.

That title belonged to another, and even the Asgardians knew this fact.

Some had toke pride in the fact that it was still an Asgardian at the helm of such a power, some looked at it as an enemy, but it didn't matter with its existence Asgard wasn't the strongest.

And it was reminded of this fact more than once throughout the years.
