Chapter 9

Previously

Well it was the last dinner date with Miss Mia, also my friend mike just returned from the country, so I had to take him on a tour through town telling him of all sorts of events that took place during his absence. This made my late for my dinner date with Miss Mia, but I was forgiven. Also, my relationship with Emily got fixed.

Now in the present (currently)

During the past days everything was going on fine, Emily and I were back together, but something seemed left out. Also mike transferred to our school too which was great. Coming to think about it, the three of us being in the same school and class, what could possibly go wrong, everything is going to change from good to better. Also, now there would be more money to spend in the cafeteria. I can now have as many treats and foods as I want.

During the past days, Miss Mia did not reach out to me. I was worried because she still owes me dinner .not that I like her, cause who in their right mind while ever refuse food and a chance to gain more money .on the bright side it was better because it will not bring about any conflicts between Emily and me. I was looking forward to dinner, though.

Today was a holiday, which meant no lessons .so we decided to head on to the amusement park since it has been long since our last visit there together .we left home at eight o'clock(8am) in order to beat traffic and get a lot of tickets for our stay in the amusement park. Our first stop at the amusement park was at the big ball of yawn, later onto the carnival and a lot more of fun activities .at midday we decided to go on for lunch. We ran into Miss Mia and a dude beside her on our way to lunch.

Emily went on to ask them to join us for lunch. I was surprised though after all she got made the last time when I went on a dinner date last time. Maybe she is alright about it this time since we will be together in a group.

We went on to the cross bond food stand for lunch, over there we ordered some rice balls and a some drinks, but Emily decided to go for a cup of silk yogurt .we told her not to do so because we were heading to rollercoaster afterwards, but as stubborn as she is, she decides not to listen to us.

While having dinner, Mike whispered into my ears, "so are you really sure this lady is not may. She looks totally like her. They eat, drink and look alike, they even got similar personalities.no wonder you would go on a date with her. Anyway, who is that guy beside her.is he trying to steal her away from you?"(Mike)

"I know right, she definitely looks like May, acts like her and even got a similar personality of that of May, but the facts say she is not may."(Cyrus)

"Really; how sure are you on that? Did you have a test or something conducted on her to prove that?"(Mike)

"No, I did not, but all other findings do say so." (Cyrus)

"Do not behave dumb Cyrus, just try to get a sample of her hair or any part of her body and conducted one."(Mike)

"And where do you expect me to find a part of Mays body."(Cyrus)

"Did you guys forget that you used to share that secret locker at our tree house? Maybe you should find something there."(Mike)

"Yeah you are right; anyway the dude sitting by her, she said he is Charles, a close friend of hers ever since she was young. Also, to get it to you, I do not care if they are dating cause am not in too her, you know? (Cyrus)

"What are you guys busy whispering about over there," Emily asked. "It was nothing he was just asking about mvb that's all." I said to her

"Fine, you better eat up fast, because we would be heading to the roller coaster next." Emily said with excitement.

We got to the rollercoaster and took our seats miss Mia and her friend, Charles were seated together, Emily took a seat with mike, and I was kind of alone (the third wheel). On the ride the screams of Emily and miss Mia could fill the entire park, even mike was terrified as well just like a cry babe, it was all left with me then (the hard nut to crack). I manage to pull it off by not screaming as load throughout the ride. Emily did not feel good after the ride, she even puked all over mikes clothes which were hilarious, we told her not to get silk yogurt after all, but she did. She deserved that for not listening to me. Mike had to get a new set of clothes too since he got puked over, so I headed into a store nearby and got him a pair of clothes, just a shirt and some jeans to go along with it .we decided to call it a day since Emily was not alright. But she insisted on going to the haunted house .that was her main reason for coming here, after all. "I won't be going any ware until we get to the haunted house." She said wining like a kid and crossing her arms together. In other, to avoid a scene there, we went to the haunted house.

At the entrance of the haunted house, was a poster which stated

"You guys sure you want to head in? "Miss Mia asked. Am sure she was frightened by the poster because she hid behind Charles while speaking in a little frightened tone.

"Sure what could ever go wrong, if anything appears I will kick its butt." getting fired for the fight (Emily)

As soon as we entered the haunted house, everyone got split up; nobody knew what was going on. Everything seems like we were in a mirror house with cold chills. I could hear loud screams of children, but am sure that is just sound effects to scare people.

After wandering around in a maze for a long time, a man popped out all of a sudden from thin air. He was old and had wrinkled dark skin with a lot of gray hair. I bet he has not seen the dawn of light for the past years. He was in a blue cape and his feet stank a lot. If I had not got a pair of perks, I would have been unconscious by now.

"Why are you wondering in here; Young lad, at this point of time? Don't you know this is the secret time of the gods, anyone who passes down this path shall be cursed." he said in a thundering voice?

I passed by him and continued in search of Emily and the guys.

"Hey young lad are you going to ignore me, I guess you don't want to know where your friends are right? Ha! (laughs), what were their names again Emily, mike, Miss Mia and Anthony" (old man in cape)

"What happened to them?" I asked. (Cyrus)

"Humph ...now you want to know now, never mind you might as well just get going looking for them here In this giant maze." floating away. "Unless you beg me to show it" (old man in cape)

"Well you just forget about it, will just wander around and find them" (Cyrus)

"Good luck trying too, "he told me with a smirk on his face. (Old man in blue cape)

After hours of searching, I couldn't pull through in finding them. What frustrated me out was I was more like stuck in the same place for over an hour now. I think I was moving in circles.

I heard lord screams about three (3) meters away from me in the direction of south. I quickly rushed over, seeing Emily being drag away, but I don't know by whom or how. Just then, the old man appeared to me again.

"What does the old dude want with me again? I told him he should get lost earlier, didn't I, and why was she dragged away. If he is looking for a fight, I as well am not look at backing out either."
