CHAPTER SIX: "The Monsters"

Rico made a quick attack from above Remus without him being aware of it.

"Haaaaaaa !!! Blaziiiiing Insect !!!" No doubt Rico kicked the werewolf with the insects enveloping his foot and it became as hard as steel.

"What the.?!" Remus looked up and was surprised by Rico's oncoming attack but instead of dodging it, he was confronted by a powerful blow.

With the force of the collision of the two forces, snow fell on every tree. And in other words, because Remus' strength is undeniable, that's why Rico just threw up like that. He went straight to a tree that was immediately felled.

"RICO !!!"

Karin quickly went to the comrade who fled that she was worried about.

"A Natural Magician huh..." Remus said, "Using the mantra to control insects, a child's magic." Insulting Rico's magic with a sly smile.

"What. ?? It's childish?!"

Rico slowly stood up and then called out to a large number of insects, "Insect ..... Tornadoooo !!!" A whirlwind swarmed insects towards his opponent.

But,

"WROOOOOORRRR !!!"

A loud growl was made by the werewolf to meet the insects. And because of the strength of the sound waves produced by Remus' growl, he was able to repel the raging insects that seemed to be whirlwinds.

Again with the power of the magic they used, notice the exhaustion of their mantra and their weakness. Karin took advantage of that moment.

"It's me now!"

She spread her wings and at once she flew,

"SCATTERED BLADE !!!"

From her wings, the swords spread towards Remus. And Remus, on the other hand, used his extraordinary speed to dodge the swords. Until it, he jumped and reached Karin's foot, at the same time he threw it with great force. The Paladin flew into the woods and the trees fell there.

Karin lost her metal wing because of the mantra reduced to her. She got up unhurriedly from her slump. Fortunately, Karin's body is also strong and she added her armor so that she wouldn't be hurt too much.

"Now, I'm taking back what I said before. I thought the people of the east will be strong." Remus's insult and after that a foolish laugh.

"What did you say??!"

From behind Remus heard a wild voice spoke. He was just surprised when he saw whose voice it was. The voice came from Rico with red eyes and insects wrapped around his two hands like a big monster's hand.

"What kind of mantra do you have? !!" Remus asked in shock looking behind him.

"RICO ??? Nooo.....!!!" Karin said and she was regaining some of her strength.

"Fusion Magic!"

Rico used magic that combines the ability of the insect and his body as well as the mantra left on him.

Rico's massive hand quickly picked up Remus, and the insects continued to run towards it.

"Huh.! WHAT THE?!!"

Remus's grip tightened as it lasted until he could no longer be seen in the excessive thickness of the insect that formed in Rico's hand.

With the magic used by Rico, the mantra increases in his body which seems to be inexhaustible due to his insects that keep on influxing. And because of this, little by little, he could no longer control it with force. Then Alir and Marcus felt it and they were just surprised by the strength of this mantra.

"What kind of mantra is that ?!"

Alir asked seeing the fear in his eyes.

"Rico .... this can't be ... !!"

The Prince was worried about the boy as he doesn't mind his wound.

"Why? What's that Marcus?"

The Princess asked.

"Rico shouldn't take the monster out of his body right now .... We need to go back there."

Moments later Solemann suddenly appeared in front of them to Alir's surprise.

"Huh! How .... ?? I hid our mantra, but you followed us.?

"You still have a lot to learn from me kid." Solemann replied and moved toward the princess, "Dear Princess, are you all right.?

"Yes Solemann, Haj.? Karin.? Did you see them ??"

Solemann bowed respectfully, "They're currently fighting the two Skin Walkers who attacked you earlier."

Marcus grabbed Solemann's shoulder as he bent down and still ignored the wound on his back,

"You were right on time. Take me to them. I need to help them and stop Rico."

"Marcus, I'm coming too!" Alice's offer.

"But Marcus ..??" Elion disagreed but he looked into Marcus' eyes and saw his serious desire there.

Meanwhile,

the insects gradually devoured Remus' whole body, while Rico deliberately became a monster in his whole appearance because of the insects that continued to envelop him.

In the middle of the freezing day, the battle between each other is still heating up. The sun is a little higher it raises so the strong winds continue to cool along with Rico's insects.

"WHAAAAAAAAAH !!!!"

Rico's wild voice shouted.

With the force of the wind, Karin couldn't move anyway and she only can say is her friend's name

"Rico ..."

The broken bones could be heard in the tight grip on Remus by the monstrous hand made up of insects.

But...

Despite the tight grip, they heard a monster growl.

"WROOOORR !!!"

The insects split away and all of a sudden, from Rico's horrible hands, a gigantic werewolf appeared. Remus as Skin Walker, using his full magic he transforms into a giant beast werewolf. Larger fangs, long claws, and glaring eyes persistently kill anyone.

"WHAT ?! No ... Remus has already used all his magic .... Are his opponents that strong ?!" Remura was just surprised to see her brother in the distance.

"Can you get serious about our fight !!" Haj once waved his sword and using Remura's long claws, he blocked it up.

"What is this other kind of mantra that I feel for them ???" Karin said as she watched the giant werewolf and Rico being deliberately swallowed by his insects.

"WHAAAAAAAAAH !!!"

The Paladin could only hear a shout from the young man who eventually turned into a monster.

And a few moments later Marcus and the others arrived. The Prince was not surprised by what he saw but he already knew that it could happen.

"Marcus!" Karin approached the Prince, "You better come back .... You need to bring Rico back to sanity, before he finally becomes a full-fledged monster, and hurts others like before."

Without hesitation, Marcus picked up his guitar from behind him. It seems regardless of his wound.

" Marcus, you're going to use magic even in that situation. ??" Elion worried for the young man.

"I have to do it. If Rico becomes a monster, he can no longer control himself. I have to save him before it's too late. "

And the Princess took Marcus's hand which surprised him.

" What are you doing.?" He asked the young lady.

"With this way, I will be the medium of your mantra to you can create a powerful magic for your music."

"Ha ..? Thank you go ahead ...." Even he didn't know what Elion mean.

Then Karin made giant cages for the two wrecking monsters.

"SWOOOORD ... BARRIEEEER !!!!"

Large metals fell around the two monsters and trapped them here.

"Marcus !! Do it now!"

And on the very first note of Marcus's play, the two monsters were stopped in their troubled. Catchy music they heard from the Prince was playing as if all the ferocious monsters who would hear this music would be tamed. Every syllable of the note is so beautiful with a pleasant sound.

Because of the music heard, Rico immediately returned to his previous form. Simultaneously shining mantras around. Due to excessive use of magic, Rico lost consciousness and suddenly fell to the ground. But Solemann caught up with him immediately and quickly teleported back to Elion and Marcus' place.

Meanwhile, Remus did not like the music he heard. Instead of it being calm, it continued its wrecking. The giant werewolf was forced to escape the barrier created by Karin. With Remus' super strength, the giant metal cage around him cracked.

"Marcus! .... get out of here, take Rico with you. I'll take care of it." The Paladin orders and then she uses magic.

"Weapon Equipt !! Circle of swords !!" Then swords appeared around her following her movements.

Even beyond his limits, Solemann decided to teleport to other parts of the forest to get away from the fighting. He knew this was the only thing he could do at those times...
