"Hello dear.” My mother greeted me as she walked into the dining room towards me.
"Son, I requested your mothers presence. I have been wanting her to be here along with you, but I had to wait until you were old enough to bring you both back. Now that you are of age, everything is falling into place nicely." His father said as he gazed at Margaret with a mischievous grin.
Margaret returned his gaze with a sweet smile.
"Brent, let's go take a walk son."
"Yes, go speak with your mother. The timing is perfect." Father said.
I looked from my father back to my mother and followed their instructions.
My mother and I left the dining area and walked down a dark hallway towards another set of double doors that led into a garden.
The garden was like an enchanted forest. There were little lights within the flowers and trees with a wooden gazebo in the center. It was the most colorful and captivating aesthetics I had seen thus far.
