Background Story:
Abandoned as a child, left alone in the middle of the forest, small child named Lynn walked in loneliness. Only thing she left with after the disappearance of her parents was her name. Her purple hair and amber eyes were covered by a cheap robe that she found while wandering across the forest.
In starvation and dehydration, she was crossing a forest alone when she was attacked by pack of Tempest Wolves, A-Rank threat while in pack. Those wolves are magical beasts, bigger, stronger and fiercer than any normal wolf. They can manipulate wind magic to some extent to cover up their scent, so that they won't be so easy to notice before they come closer. They are enemies that even veteran warriors fear. They are silent until they attack, strong enough to pose threat even to strongest among kingdoms' chivalry orders and if that wasn't enough, they usually hunt in packs of up to six. Exactly that was the case this time too, six creatures too strong for an adult to handle, not to say anything about a child like her.
The only option left was to flee. Lynn run for her life with all her strength, but as a kid, she wasn't match for seasoned apex predators of the forest. She was quickly cornered and was just simply awaiting her demise. When she thought that it's the end, that nothing can be done, that she won't be able to uncover mystery behind the disappearance of her parents, she thought to herself that her life is worthless. She fell despair and at the same time emptiness inside her. Just seconds before wolf's attack that would end her life up instantly, three purple-colored birds shielded her with their bodies.
Those birds, which would be referred to as Thunder Tyrants in the future, were majestic, crow-like, creatures that travelled by air using their beautiful wings. There is saying that they bring fortune and prosperity to region where they are spotted but since they usually avoid humans, no real researches were made. Using power of natures, they created thunderstorm and killed all six wolves nearly instantly with the help of lightning coming down to earth way up from the clouds. Lynn was stunned, what she saw was amazingly graceful and charming performance of sheer strength and dominance.
She was invited by Tyrants, that's what her intuition told her. She followed them to a cave hidden deep inside the forest. Its entrance was covered by roots of enormous tree growing exactly over it. The roots reacted with bird's magic power flow and cleared up the path to the depth of this cavern.
In the middle of the last chamber she saw a sword lying near the underground lake. It was beautiful piece of art she thought upon seeing it for the first time. Masterpiece of blacksmithing, art in from of a blade that could cut easily through even steel. It had violet gem attached near it's handle and was covered in mystic, purplish particles surrounding it all the time. She felt as if this sword was made specially for her. She took it after seeing Tyrants' agreeing on her being its new owner. Blade was sharp, balance was perfect, it was durable and looked as if it was unbreakable.
When Lynn's first fascination calmed down, she saw words carved into the rock on which this sword was laying. This words were as following: "Name of it, Hyacigladio, one of my few live masterpieces. I'm leaving it in hands of Thunder Tyrants, they will find it suitable new master. If you're reading it, you were acknowledged by them. I'm leaving my legacy in your hands, but remember, that's not your power, that's the power you were bestowed upon, power you gained through getting this sword. Use it well and for the sake of others. If you obey this rules, you will be blessed for eternity. Only those who are worthy shall use its power. I hope we can meet one day, suitable one. My name is Kizair, hope you won't forget it."
Lynn was shocked by this message. She found work of another person that was here before already and also another one acknowledged by the birds. She knew she won't do any harm to innocent or misuse her powers for her own gains. She was determined to become the sword that cut through enemies and protects people standing behind her.
For few next years she was living with Tyrants in the forest. Eating herbs and hunted monsters, drinking water from underground lake, practicing her self-taught swordsmanship and overall coexisting alongside the nature. She learned to live in synthesis with her surroundings. She never gave more suffering than needed, even when she was killing monsters. She always remembered to pry for their souls and thanked them for getting killed so she can live even for a little longer.
Her way of living made Thunder Tyrants attached to her. They not only acknowledged her, but also started to respect her. They formed a contract with her and she was able to communicate with them via telepathy. However, no matter how strong this birds were, they swore not to meddle with mankind's businesses, they might give her information they acquired by flying over the enemies, but they will never use their powers to attack them. They won't become her offensive support, but rather they will provide her with their knowledge.
After few years of training, when she was around 17 years old, she decided that it's high time to meet other humans and maybe even save lives of others and thus she set off to find new adventures with her three bird friends. Fated encounter wasn't that long apart. As she was walking by the road that lead to one of the cities, she saw carriage being attacked by bunch of thugs. She easily dealt with them, rescuing three man still alive after the attack that were part of the hired mercenary party.
This carriage was highly detailed; one could think that it belonged to some kind of famous merchant or nobility. Truth wasn't that far away from these feelings. Form the carriage, blonde haired and blue eyed figure came out. He introduced himself as William Koria, 2nd prince of Koria Kingdom, nation that valued ones' merits over status, a meritocracy. When asked about the reward she wanted, she simply answered "I want to be of help to people", and thus she became 2nd prince's personal escort.
Firstly, she was just a warrior, then she managed to become Swordswoman (Lower Tier Class) while still being in the forest. At the time when she left for her journey she was already a Knight (Middle Tier Class). In the middle of that, she also mastered all types of hand-to-hand combat and variety of martial arts and thus mastered her close quarrel combat abilities.
Years went by and her merits and deeds to the country and its people were countless. As the current Grand Marshall, Warren, was already old, she was bestowed upon a title of new Grand Marshall. At that time she was already a Swordsmaster (Higher Tier Class). She, an abandoned child, became strongest person in the country's chivalry order and her hard work was appreciated. She, already at that time, had full king's trust and support.
Due to her nature, she was always attacking her enemies head on, always on the 1st lines and always victorious. Due to her actions and always-high morale of her underlings and beauty combo of her own charming look combined with purplish color of her blade as she cut through enemies, she received alias "Violet Valkyrie".
Her delicate, yet serious nature, mercy towards enemies and overall dedication towards safety of her comrades and her beliefs, allowed her to meet Divine Being. That type of creature possesses a fragment of godhood. Its name, or rather alias, was 'Uriel'. It granted her with Valkyrie class (Unique-Tier Class) and granted ability to 'seek light in the darkness', from which her intuition ability was born. Another of its gifts was Physical Enhancement, which could improve one's physique for certain period of time. Uriel's blessing is considerably new for her, so she wasn't able to understand it's depth yet.
On the other hand, her familiars, Thunder Tyrants that were always close to her, sometimes dropped their feathers that were used as material to enhance overall performance of one's equipment by applying it to weapons or armor by a master blacksmith. The members of the elite squad were priority in terms of better gear.
One day, she felt that something isn't right, that something is going on in the middle of "Nightmares Forest". She simply said "I sense danger" and king, Liam, ordered elite squad to go with her to investigate this possible danger. Something wrong with this forest was always bad omen. It was bad to the point where even thinking that something happened freezes the blood in the veins.
Was it natural disaster that occurred there? Or was it a scheme of a neighboring country? With this two thoughts Lynn, elite squad and three birds were traveling to find out the truth.
