24. Last hug

After two hours of pondering outside with deep sadness, then Daffa went back into her house, went straight to her room, and then dropped her burly body on the mattress where his wife had been sleeping.

"It's only been two hours since you left me baby, but why does it feel like it's been a long time, and I miss you so much I miss you too," said Daffa who spoke while closing her eyes and gradually she fell asleep while still breathing in the scent of her wife's body which was still left on the pillow, and bed.

At five in the morning, Daffa was already awake, but when she woke up she immediately went to the bathroom to look for her wife.

"Honey, is your stomach queasy again? Why don't you wake Hubby dear? Hubby can help you, Hubby is also afraid that you will faint because of weakness, dear." said Daffa with her eyes half-closed, but to her surprise when she opened her eyes completely and didn't find his wife in the bathroom.

"Honey, why did you leave me? Why did I also marry that woman? I regret marrying her and losing the wife I love so much." reproached Daffa who walked unsteadily back to her room with a sad face like a body without a soul.

"I'm confused what should I do? I thought my wife was vomiting in the bathroom, but apparently, my wife wasn't there so, I was just dreaming or something happened to her, I should try calling mom first to find out the truth," Daffa said, she then took her cellphone which was on the nightstand.

Felicia's mother asked while talking to her son on the phone, while Daffa grew more worried when she heard her mother's words on the other side.

"Mom, what's wrong with my wife? Did something happen to her? Is she vomiting and sick again, Mother? Daffa is going there, Mom, Daffa is very worried about her mother and my wife will not lose her nausea before she inhales Daffa's scent, Mother." said Daffa again who asked her mother again.

Daffa had arrived at her parents' yard, then by parking her car in a random place she immediately went into the house and met her parents.

"Mother ... mother ... where is my wife's mother?" shouted Daffa who found her mother in the kitchen, while Felicia's mother who heard her son's voice only smiled slightly and then pointed her hand towards a room.

"It's upstairs in your room, you just try to see him first but if your wife doesn't want you don't force her, son, remember that well." Felicia's mother messaged after silence informed her daughter-in-law's whereabouts.

"Of course mother," said Daffa who immediately ran into her room which was located on the top floor.

Daffa opened her room and saw his wife lying weakly on the bed, then Daffa quickly took off the jacket she was wearing and then approached his wife and lay down beside her.

"Did I dream that Hubby had come, and hugged me? Hubby, I miss you even for a second I can't sleep without your hugs, but there's no way you'll come because you must be sleeping right now hugging your young wife." Meisya murmured, then she finally fell asleep soundly, while Daffa, who heard her wife's words, became very sad.

Daffa hugged and accompanied his wife to sleep for up to an hour and felt that his wife had fallen asleep very soundly before Daffa let go of her embrace, then he kissed his wife's forehead for a very long time after that he left the room to meet his mother who was sitting at the dining table.

"What about me is a son? Has she fallen asleep?" Felicia's mother asked as soon as she saw her son coming down the stairs and sitting next to her.

"Yes mother, Meisya is asleep and if she asks if I come to see her and sleep with her, just say that I didn't do it," Daffa asked, then she started to eat breakfast that her mother had prepared, but Felicia's mother was very surprised to hear her son's words.

"Tell mother, son, what is the reason you don't want to tell your wife about your arrival?" Mother asked very curiously.

"Mei is still angry with Daffa, mother, even earlier she thought Daffa couldn't come let alone hug her, but what's important is that she can sleep well. Mom, I want to take a shower first and don't ask my aunt to wash my clothes, but just give it to her." My wife will be his bed partner later if he really can't sleep, then Mom will call Daffa and I will come to accompany her to sleep again." explained Daffa who stepped out of the dining table and went back into her room, then thirty minutes later Daffa was out again with a fresher body and her hands wrapped in paper bags.

"You're already leaving son, why don't you wait until your wife wakes up first? Because at least even though she's angry, her longing will be cured a little by your presence," suggested Felicia's mother who looked at her son who was getting ready to leave.

"No need mom, I just want to go to the office please mom gives this to my wife don't say I gave it it's up to you how you want to tell her, then I'll go first mom and please take care of my wife and children," Daffa asked, then she gave her a paper bag containing the clothes she was wearing before she left the house and drove her car to her company.

Approaching lunchtime Meisya woke up from her sleep, she stretched her muscles for a while then sat looking around her room as if looking for something.

"It turned out that I was only dreaming. I thought my husband came to hug me, is he not the least bit worried about me and the child in my womb? It turns out that he has indeed forgotten about me and his child." said Meisya who was looking down languidly, then she went into the bathroom to wash her face after that she left the room to meet Felicia's mother.
