Han had kept going and fighting the weak demon beasts that surrounded the mansion until a week before he decided to leave.
Under the cover of darkness he took his weapons and he broke into the library, gathering everything he could. He snuck into the kitchen and gathered all the food he could carry.
Jumping over the castle wall he entered into the darkness.
Meanwhile, in the main hall sat a man with a smirk. He saw the antics of his grandkid and found it amusing that he left the mansion after milking the place of all he could with his bastard status.
Han traveled deep into the forest, killing every monster he passed in one shot as he passed with ease. Han had found a map and knew a plan he wanted to do. First he would severely distance himself from the elbas domain and end up in the northern part of this segment of the continent. Second he would pose as a traveling hunter and join a hunters guild. Lastly he would save up a decent portion of money and try to advance to the next realm on everything in the quickest way possible.
He had to make the disguise look real, but it technically wasn't even a disguise more like a way to replace the clothes he destroyed within the first week. He had already amassed a decent amount of pelts and meat that he salted and made into jerky. In his current environment which was mountainous and cold even though it was only fall, he couldn't stop for anything as he wasn't knowledgeable of the beasts in that area and their power.
Even though he had made the cloak, boats, and gloves out of the pelts he still decided to make his outfit match the look he was going for. So as soon as he had left the territory of the elbas family he immediately went to the first town he could find.
A rugged 15ish looking kid covered from head to toe in pelts and with a necklace of various different monster teeth walked into a town. He attracted a lot of attention as he made his way to a store specializing in the purchasing of monster body parts. Even though this town wasn't big enough for a hunters guild it still had a building to provide the insensitive to kill the local monsters. He pushed open the door and walked in without a hint of hesitation, he walked up to the counter and waited for the attendant to be done with what ever they were doing.
A tall and sturdy man walked from the back and noticed Han right as he was about to walk to preform other tasks.
"Oh….I'm sorry if you had to wait for long, what can I do for you today". The man said as his surprised look morphed into a professional look the longer that he spoke.
"I'm here to sell some beast parts". Han said as he pulled out not only a mountain of pelts, but also horns, claws, bones and as many other part he could fit in his second sack as the fist one he wore on the front and was dedicated to food.
"Holy shit..." he spoke almost inaudibly and quickly regained his composure.
"Will that be all for you". He said as he began to tally the items that Han laid out in front of him.
Han only nodded his head as he watch the man with hope and glee.
"Alright the total for everything is 250 gold coins". Han scooped up the coins and thanked the man on his way out.
He immediately headed to the blacksmith which wasn't located far from the store. Han entered and started to loose for the perfect light armor. The blacksmith was bigger than he expected as he meandered for over 20 minutes. Stopping in front of a box with shining armor with the perfect style for him and it even had a special effect. The effect was called shield of instant protection, which deployed a shield right as he was about to be attacked by a monster. It was also rather cheap, costing only 50 coins. Han walked up to the counter and decided to ask the attendant a quick question just out of curiosity, since he still had a bulging gold pouch.
"Do you have any recommendations for taverns and places to stay around here". He questioned as he handed the black smith the money he owed.
"Yes, the tipped mug is a good place. It offers food and has cheap rooms".
"Thank you for the recommendation" Han walked straight to the tavern purchased a room and immediately passed out in the first bed he slept in, in over two weeks.
He grabbed the breakfast from the tavern and stocked up on his supplies before he went back on his journey.
"We're back on the road, I estimate only two more months and I'll be at the city called iron haven". Han said as he continued his steady paced walk.
