Chapter 4

The 9 girls are currently in the studio filming for a new comeback, they were exhausted so they decided to stay in the middle of the dance studio. The leader Park Jihyo is in her phone currently looking at something..or someone. The older named Nayeon took a sit beside her and sighed.

"Still looking for her?" The older asked, Jihyo looked at her and nodded "What's her name again?" she asked another one. Jihyo sighed in exaggeration.

"Her name is Lia" she said "It's been 2 years already and still I didn't even found her yet. I know she's just a stranger when I met her but I felt so contented and I feel loved when I was talking to her, I know I always tell this to you everytime but you know how crazy I am for her" The older nodded and rub Jihyo's back "Maybe someday you will find her, but if faith did not well...you gotta move on" Jihyo just sigh but nodded.

How did she met Lia? Well, apparently Lia tried to use this site called omegle wherein you can talk to someone but a stranger she was 18 years old that time while Jihyo is 21. Jihyo was bored back then when she also tried to use that so she typed in the interest "girls" since she just wants to talk to a female. It took her 15 minutes before she find a very educated and kind girl.

It was Lia, they talked about random things but most likely Lia telling about herself and her life. Jihyo find it very inspirational and she find Lia so sweet. She knew she was really into business since she was talking about her Mom a lot she doesn't want to talk about her her father knowing to herself that she was a Director in Korea. They talked about for 2 hours thanks to the fast internet and it didn't disconnect really big thanks to Omegle, Jihyo took the chance to get Lia's number good thing Lia has a Korean number because of her Dad.

They texted everyday Jihyo is always texting her while Lia also does. They were talking non stop asking about each others whereabouts and asking about their day. Jihyo realized that Lia is the most sweetest girl ever. Lia never skip a day asking her to never forget to drink her water or change her clothes if she gets sweaty. Lia doesn't know that Jihyo is a idol, Jihyo just told her that she dance a lot and she's a mentor. So, Lia being the sweetest she always remind Jihyo to take care and have a nice day. Of course, Jihyo's heart is already melting

But, one day Jihyo didn't get a reply from Lia..

She tried to wait for her reply for 5 days but there no sign she also told it to her members so the girls also tried to reach her out but there's no reply her friends came to the conclusion that Lia ghosted her but Jihyo told them that maybe something happened. Jihyo wanted to find her again because she feel so safe and loved when she talked to Lia, she knows she needs that everyday and she's interested in her but sadly still no reply. She just need 1 way, well she's an idol and she knew she will do this because she likes the person whatever it takes she will go for it. She hired a people to trace everything and the evidence that she had well she finally have it after 7 days.

Jihyo has her social medias and she swear when she saw Lia's picture she melted, Lia was so gorgeous and that what she likes. She instantly messaged her but sadly she didn't answer she waited for almost 2 weeks but Lia wasn't answering that's because that social media isn't usable anymore. Lia decided to change her account and make it private because of her Mom and Dad and some personal reasons. Jihyo just have her picture, she's just praying to God that one day she will find Lia.

The girls called for Jihyo again, she has been thinking too much and can't move on. Her members understands her a lot so they just let her. Jihyo stood up and finally went back to practice.

"Oh come one, we've been sitting here for almost 15 minutes Ningning is still not here" Giselle groaned, Karina and Winter sighed as Lia is just standing. They are outside their university waiting for the younger one. Karina explained to Lia that Ningning is the slowest member so she just need to understand it sometimes. Lia doesn't really mind as long as she has friends.

Lia decided to scroll through her phone, she smiled when she saw Jennie's instagram post. It's a selfie of herself with a caption "tired and sleepy" she chuckled lowly knowing it was her fault. She wasn't really sleepy at that time and she still wants to talk to the older which the older oblige and felt butterflies to her stomach. They stayed up until 4 am while Jennie has a schedule recording at 6 am. Good thing Lia's class is in 9 am and she thank to God that she has 5 hours to sleep.

They followed each other on Instagram, Lia wasn't surprise when she sees Jennie's account since Jennie told her everything about their group which Lia was congratulating her non-stop but the older find her cute. The 3 members also followed her and she followed everyone back. While Jennie in the other side was very thankful, she has a lot of photos to save and make it her home screen.

Finally, after waiting for 10 more minutes Ningning finally came "Oh, finally you decided to come" Winter rolled her eyes and Ningning smiled "Good thing we're not late" Ningning winked. Karina and Giselle just shakes their head and they all went inside the university.

but before they went inside they were stopped with a tall man in her mid 40s, he was handing a bouquet of flowers to Lia. Lia took it hesitantly as the 4 girls looked at the man weirdly "U-Uh T-thank Y-you?" Lia said hesitantly. The old man smiled and said "The person who gave that told me that you shouldn't skip meals and you should enjoy your day ahead" The man smiled, Lia blinked 2x she wanted to ask who that person is but the man instantly stopped her "I'm sorry, I can't say who it is. That person also told me that you need to find it to yourself. I have to go." Lia just nodded as the man smiled and left.

The 4 girls was looking at Lia with their mouth open while Lia was looking at the man leaving. Lia sighed and looked at the girls "Do you all have a clue?" She asked the 4 girls shakes their head but went back to reality when Lia asked them. They all went inside when they heard the bell rang. Lia decided to put the bouquet in her locker and went to class with her friends.

After the 3 hour class, they decided to have lunch. They were in the cafeteria and Lia was really thinking hard who that person is when she decided to ask the girls "Uh, by any chance what kind of people do they have here in this university?" Winter and Ningning furrowed their brows, they didn't get the question but good thing Karina and Giselle did.

"Students here are rich, they are smart, academically inclined and very you know likes to give gifts to someone. I also encountered that to my first school. I find it weird, He tried to court me but I told him that I need to study first" Lia nodded at Karina's statement "Maybe that person saw you yesterday and decided to use his bodyguard just to give you the flowers" Giselle joked causing Ning and Winter to giggle "but, it's weird roses are my favorite flowers and the person knows this is my parents and my friends from New York" Lia said "Roses are very common in the whole world Li. Maybe it was just coincidence" Winter said, Lia nodded and the girls agreed. Lia tried to be calm and not to think of it too much wanting to forger for the day. She just wants to thank that person.

"So, have you gave the flowers?" Lisa asked the cat-eyed girl who can't stop looking at Lia's photo "whipped mandu" she mumbled, Jisoo sat beside Jennie while Chaeyoung rest her arms to Lisa's shoulder looking at Jennie "Jeez mandue when will you ever stop looking at her?" The older asked

"I can't she's too pretty" Jennie said causing Chaeyoung to giggle "and yes Lisa I already gave the flowers, I asked Bongho to gave it to Lia and he successfully did when she saw the girls going inside. Lia was very confused but took it"

"Who wouldn't? She just started her school yesterday and of course she will be surprised that someone gave her some flowers at her 2nd day. Are you really that excited?" The Aussie asked and Jennie nodded. The girls just squealed knowing someday Jennie will really love that girl and they believe that she will love her unconditionally.

Jennie told Lia to text her when she got home but Lia being the sweetest and caring girl even though she's thinking hard about the flowers she still texted Jennie asking her if she ate already and telling her to take care. Jennie find it cute, she swears she really is willing to have this girl. With that, Jennie's day was very complete even though she doesn't really have enough sleep.

The 5 girls are currently in the library reading some textbooks while Lia is typing something from her laptop. She was writing a story about her story. Karina sat beside her and take a look at what she's typing. Lia was really focused on writing so she doesn't felt Karina reading it. Karina doesn't really read it well since the fonts are small so she just went back reading meanwhile Winter, Giselle and Ningning sat across Lia and Karina. Ningning put her book down while the 2 girls drink their coffee, Winter was about to get something from her back pack when she saw Lia's left arms. Winter eyes went wide, Lia was wearing a long sleeves but it was tolled up until her elbows showing her scar, Winter elbowed Ningning causing ningning to groan in annoyance "WHAT WINJEONG?" She shout lowly, Winter pointed at Lia's scar and Ningning jaw slacked.

Lia sighed and stretched, smiling in relief when she was almost finished with her book. She looked at her friends and she was confused why in the world they were looking at her weirdly. The girls are following Lia's left arm and Lia realized that her sleeves were rolled up. Lia instantly held it doen and widened her eyes.

"U-uhm, Did you two saw it?" She asked hesitantly, The two confused girls looked at her but Winter and Ningning nodded causing her to sigh "Saw what?" Giselle asked

"where did it come from? If you don't mind me asking?" Ningning asked curiously "What do you mean?" the confused Karina asked. Lia just breath in and out, her dad was about to tell them about Lia's past tonight because Lia's dad scheduled a dinner night with them because he wanted to know more about Lia's new friend and finally tell about her past "C-can we talk about it over dinner?" The nervous girl asked, They all nodded when Winter and Ningning apologized. Lia told them that it was alright so they decided to came back of what they were doing.

"Good thing you girls came in time" Jaesung said kissing her daughter's cheek and gave her a hug as the girls smiled respectfully "Yeah, Sorry we have a 5 to 7 pm class did you wait for too long?" His daughter asked while he pulled the chair for her "No, don't worry" He gestured the to sit and they did.

The dinner was going well, The restaurant was near in a well-known entertainment so a lot of idols are eating here also. The girls told themselves one by one as Jaesung listened carefully turns out they were friends since High School and they were inseparable since then Jaesung knew that her daughter is in the right hands circle of friends and he decided to finally tell them the truth.

"Girls, just promise me that you won't look at Lia differently?" The girls nodded, they knew all bout this already knowing Lia already pertained to this a while ago, Jaesung looked at Lia and the girl nodded "Well, my daughter went in a really bad accident" the girls gasped but felt sad for Lia "Her Uncle and cousin decided to go for a road trip in Yonkers. I told them to limit their speed knowing my daughter was there ghey oblige. Lia was so happy that she finally had the chance to have a road trip but my nightmare happened, when they were about to go home when I got a call from the police that my daughter got in an accident not far away from our home. Me, her Mom and brother instantly went to the hospital. Lia's leg broke, her arms has a long scar and her head really hit hard and a lot of bruises" Lia grip the chair, Karina looked at her sadly and took her hands telling her that it's alright.

"It was our nightmare, We almost lose her sadly her Uncle and cousin died. Lia just needed some blood which me and her Mom donated, she didn't wake up for 9 days but when she did. She didn't know us, She have a amnesia, It breaks us but we gotta accept it we just helped her to remember everything and thank to God she's still the Lia that we know. That's why she got so curious at everything. Her friends knew about this that's why she's taking care of her all the time and I want you all to know about this because I know I can trust you all right?" Jaesung asked
