Let the hunt begin!

"You pathetic child!"

A woman yelled with anger in her voice as she pointed at a small boy, presumably around the age of 9

"I'm sorry mom..."

The child whispered as he looked toward the ground, tugging on his pants while small tears fell from his blue eyes

"I.."

The boy attempted to come up with an excuse, only being able to pronounce the letter 'i' before receiving a slap to the face by the woman now known as his mother.

"You don't get to apologize! Your brother died protecting you, he was supposed to be the star of our bloodline, the prodigy everyone talks about, the strongest knight, But yet..."

The woman said with yet even more anger in her voice before stopping, sadness began to crowd her eyes as she began thinking to herself, looking down at the ground for a few seconds, biting her lower lip before glaring at the boy once again

"He went and died for a pathetic and useless child like you! I should've never given birth to you, Ean!"

And just as those words came to be, Ean opened his eyes, finding himself in a room, resting on a bed with bandages all around his aching boy

"That dream again.."

Ean whispered as he sat up, pressing his right hand against his forehead as he closed his eyes, thinking back to the woman, before someone opened the door, revealing a black-haired woman with a maid outfit on.

"Who are you supposed to be?"

Ean questioned, proceeding to sit straight while staring at her with a confused look on his face

"I'm Lamia, you don't remember me, please don't tell me you got Amnesia while in the race, young master"

The woman now known as Lamia said as she walked into the room, carrying with her some clothes and Ean's sword

"Oh, Lamia—Yeah the race, what about.."

Ean whispered while blinking a few times before the thought of realization pinched his mind like a needle, widening his eyes, Ean would stand from the bed, dropping the blankets that covered him.

"The race! I totally forgot about the race!"

All Lamia could do was blush before a small smile grew on her face, Ean was naked.

"Oh young master, quite daring you are. But I don't think this is an appropriate place to do this"

Lamia responded while turning her face to a side, the color of her red cheeks became more vivid as Ean tilted his head in confusion

"What are you talking abou-"

Ean stopped, as the breeze stroked his body, though it dead make his body feel a slight bit colder, the part in where he felt it the most was in between his legs. He had no clothes on, and just like a normal person would, he covered his most precious body part before jumping into the bed and covering himself with the blankets

"What are you staring at Lamia! Give me my clothes!"

Ean yelled as his face became red, embarrassed of the situation, and after just a few minutes Ean had dressed up. Now wearing a Kamishimo with his katana tied to his waist.

"I gotta say, young master, that outfit really fits you, but it reminds me of the rebels, do you think that wearing something like that would be tolerated by the people?"

Lamia questioned while placing her index finger on her lower lip with a curious look.

Lamia seemed to be around the age of 24, she looked beautiful, her face was delicate looking, as beautiful as royalty. Her breasts were quite big, and her waist was skinny, suiting her body structure. And although her butt was not visible, it was perky.

"Don't worry about it Lamia, it's just a Kamishimo. Anyway, about the race, I lost right?"

Ean questioned as Lamia blinked, proceeding to clothes her eyes as she thought about what to say next

"You did"

Lamia responded while opening her eyes, staring at him with a calm expression

"I expected as much"

Ean whispered while placing his hand behind his head, scratching it while biting down on his lip

"Fuck.."

"Fuck.."

He repeated while holding in his tears, as he stared at the ground

"But, there are still seven mini-games left, you were only unconscious for 30 minutes so it hasn't even started yet"

Said Lamia as Ean's watery-looking eyes slowly turned to normal. He would swing his head up, standing straight before looking at Lamia dead in the eyes.

"You mean it?"

He questioned as a smile grew on his face

"Yep"

She replied with honesty in her tone, causing the boy to grin, as he closed his hands, shaking in excitement

"Ok well, thanks for the clothes, Lamia! I need to head to the mini-game now"

"Oh ok, see you later young master"

"You too!"

Ean yelled, before storming out of the room, running down through the halls, scurrying throw them with swiftness, all that could be heard was the sound of the wind that accumulated around his body, passing through every obstacle on his way, reaching the end of the hall after a few seconds

"And the next mini-game is, hunting!"

Exclaimed the man on the blue screen, as Ean walked into a forest

"What the hell. Wasn't I in a room just a moment ago? so what am I doing in a forest?"

Ean questioned as he took a step forward, stepping onto the forest and once he did the hall and everything that was behind him, disappeared, leaving him alone in that wide forest

"The rules of this mini-game are simple, hunt! Hunt as much as you can. But there is a twist, you will be given three hours to hunt, now there are only four animals in this forest that you can hunt. The Flying serpents.."

The man said as his face was switched out with an image, showing a floating blue snake with a horn that resembled that of a unicorn, and bones that poked out of its long back

"The Chimeras!"

The man yelled once again, as the image was switched, now showing a lion with a tiger head sticking out of its neck and a giant snake for a tail

"The Griffins!"

The man exclaimed, switching the image yet again, now showing another lion, but instead, it had the head, front legs, and wings of an eagle

"And lastly but not least, The Mantipions!"

The man screamed with excitement, as the image changed one last time, showing what seemed to be a gigantic scorpion with the upper body of a human as its head.

"A certain amount of coins will be given whenever one of these creatures is hunted"

"The flying serpents are worth: 40 points"

"The chimeras are worth: 80 points"

"The griffins are worth: 120 points"

"And The Mantipions are worth:300 points"

"Whoever ends up with the most points at the end of this mini-game, wins!"
