" Look at what I found "
Shu whispered as a smirk grew on his face. Finding himself standing below what seemed to be a giant, who stared him down with its ginormous singular eye
" Wooaa-what the hell is that? An ogre!? No! That's a Titan! We gotta get out of here Shu, Titans are the definition of strength! "
Galahad yelled attempting to pull Shu's shirt, trying his best to pull him away from the Titan which was slowly getting closer to them, but unfortunately, his strength proved to not be enough for him to successfully get Shu out of there, so without any other choice, he took a few steps back, with a look of regret on his face, before beginning to run
" I'm sorry.. "
Galahad whispered as he hid in a corner, far away from the beast that he had dubbed a Titan
" Where are you going, Percival? "
Shu questioned, as he took a step forward, slamming his left hand against his right, causing a slight shockwave which made his clothes shake
" You scared of this guy? "
Shu questioned while staring at Galahad, before pointing at the Titan who seemed confused with his index finger, giving Galahad a smug smirk as he slowly turned his attention back to the beast
" Well don't worry—I'll kick his ass so that we can move on and clear this dumbass stage "
Shu said, ending his words with a cold tone while looking up at the Titan who tilted his head at Shu
" Little man funny "
The Titan said, making Shu blink a few times, with a look of shock on his face as a nervous smile grew on his face
" So you can talk huh? "
Shu questioned while slightly chuckling as Galahad listened to the odd conversation between the two
" Little man isn't scared of Ogal, Ogal like little man "
The Titan now known as Ogal said as he pointed at Shu while chuckling loudly, so loud that the section of the cave they found themselves in began to shake
" Why would I be scared of you? Although, you're Sanctuary Energy is pretty fucking scary, I've come to find out that Sanctuary Energy isn't all there is to a fighter "
Shu replied as he cracked his knuckles yet again, at the now confused Ogal
" Little people always scared of Ogal, they scream and run, Ogal have no friends, Ogal always sad "
Ogal said as Shu simply stared at him, feeling a little bad for the monster, all he could do was scratch his head
" Hmm, well, I'm not scared of you, I mean why would I be? You're just a big ass human with one eye, it's not all that scary if you ask me "
Shu replied while slowly moving his hand away from his head, proceeding to stretch it out, giving Ogal a thumbs up
" Does little man want to be Ogal's friend!? "
Ogal questioned, quickly dropping his body down on the ground, sitting on the floor with a smile of happiness on his face
" Sure, seems like a pretty easy favor to grant, in turn, grant me one as well "
Shu replied, smiling at Ogal before lowering his arm, shoving his hands inside of his pockets
" Yes, Ogal can grant favor as well "
Ogal replied, laying his gigantic hands on his knees with a small yet noticeable innocent smile on his face
" Well, to be honest, it's kind of like, two favors. The first one being a question.
" A question for Ogal?
" Yes, Ogal, you seem pretty strong, enough to even wreck this place to bits, so how did you end up in here, are you living here? Or perhaps, maybe, you got locked up? "
Shu questioned, with a delicate tone, as if talking to a child, as his question made Ogal think
" Ogal was kicked out of home, family say Ogal was too strong, they were scared of Ogal like little man other there "
Ogal said, beginning to explain, before pausing suddenly, as he pointed at Galahad who was hiding
" People like Ogal are very strong, they kill very easily, strong is fine for people like Ogal, but family says Ogal was unstable and too strong. People like Ogal get mad and kill, and Ogal was very unstable so family did not want Ogal and kicked him out, then-"
Ogal was about to continue his poor told story but all of a sudden, he was interrupted by Shu's loud groaning
" You're slowly starting to irritate me now, I can barely understand anything you're saying ... Speak. Normally. "
Shu said while holding the right side of his head, trying his best to understand the story Ogal was trying to share
" Don't say stuff like that Shu, don't be mean to him, it seems like Ogal is having trouble trying to speak the human language, so I'll translate for you"
Galahad said as he stood next to Shu
" Oh, Percival, when did you get here?"
" I got here a moment ago actually, well I wasn't here long enough to hear you guys' entire conversation but, I was here long enough to listen to Ogal's story"
" So do you understand what he's saying? "
" Well yeah, I mean it's pretty simple to follow if you just change up some of the words he's saying and change his sentence into one you yourself can understand"
Galahad explained, moving his fingers and hands around, trying to mimic the shape of a written sentence before turning his attention toward Ogal
" Anyway. Ogal you can talk in your language now, I can speak Titarian so you can freely tell your story now"
Galahad said, making Ogal smile as the simple fact that Galahad wasn't scared of him anymore made him happy
" Ogal had no choice but to-"
Ogal said, beginning to talk in his Titan language, while Galahad carefully listened
"He was kicked out of his village, for the simple fact of having a skill that made him too strong to keep under control. He also says that his species has the ability to grow significantly stronger when they sacrifice part of their life span, but for Ogal it was different as his ability allowed him to nullify that fundamental rule, so as I said earlier he was exiled"
Galahad said, as Shu simply placed his thumb and index finger under his chin, thinking about how dumb a decision like that was
"And then he met-"
Galahad would pause, as what Ogal was explaining seemed to shock him, enough so that it would make him sweat
