Shu vs Arthur ( Part 2 )

" Hey, hey you see that? "

One of the spectators questioned as he pointed at Shu and Arthur, who seemed to be standing still in the air, while huge shockwaves spread throughout the field, pillars of ice occasionally generating ferociously

" It's like they aren't even moving "

Another spectator pointed out, as she watched Shu and Arthur fall back to the Arena's ground

" You've gotten fast "

Shu said as he looked at Arthur, with a huge grin on his face as Arthur himself couldn't help but smile

" And you're still as annoyingly strong as you were when you defeated me "

Arthur replied as the shockwaves became bigger and louder

" Though it did anger me that I lost, you opened my eyes, back then I was too comfortable with my power, I didn't try to gain any more than what I already had, I mean, no one could hold a candle to me at the academy, but then you showed up, and beat some sense into me, for that I thank you, but. You've destroyed my pride and honor, so I'll compensate with twice the disgrace "

Arthur declared, taking slow steps toward Shu, who could not help but chuckle, proceeding to place his hands on his waist, his grin slowly being replaced by a smirk of arrogance

" In short, I beat you up so badly that I changed your way of thinking, does that sum it all up? "

Shu replied, taunting the boy as the bursts of ice, shockwaves, and explosions increased

" You little.. "

Arthur paused, taking in a deep breath before smirking at the Albino Boy

" You tried to anger me so that I could blindly attack you, isn't that right, you annoying midget? "

Arthur continued, regaining his composure, as all Shu could do was laugh in return

" Woah, you found me out, what gave me away? Was it my taunting? "

Shu questioned while slowly raising his arm, and as soon as he did, Arthur appeared beside him, throwing a punch at Shu's face, which Shu blocked with his already rising arm

" I guess it's true what they say, small people talk the most shit "

Arthur whispered, veins throbbing from his forehead as he looked down at Shu with glowing bright blue eyes

" I'm so glad this tournament exists because now, no one will be able to interfere with our fight! "

Shu yelled, disappearing in a blur, appearing above Arthur, proceeding to bring his leg down in an attempt to kick Arthur on his shoulder, but the blue-haired boy would simply push it away, retaliating with an attack of his own, swinging his arm up to try and land an uppercut on Shu's chin.

Shu would smile, seeing as Arthur was now able to keep up with him unlike before, but, he wasn't there to test Arthur's strength, he was there to have a good fight. With swiftness, Shu would avoid the fist, placing his legs on Arthur's shoulders to propel himself back, landing and sliding on the ground right after

" Although I can not stand your presence, I can't help but agree with you. I am also glad that no one can interfere with this battle of ours! "

Arthur yelled, unconsciously mimicking Shu's grin, before clashing his fist with Shu's foot, their clash would push them both back, but they would quickly regain their composure and dash toward each other, and as they did, the shockwaves, bursts of ice and explosions in the back would begin to spread high in the sky as well

" This way sire "

A butler with gray hair said as he walked through a hallway with a man to his side, that man being the one he was referring to as sire

" I can feel their energies clashing, my son has grown strong "

The man said as he stared down at the butler, squinting his eyes for a bit before looking forward

" Indeed he has Master Romulus, he is your son, after all, your great blood runs through his veins, it was inevitable that he'd become as strong as he currently is "

The butler said, leading the way, for the man he called master

" Your words of praise concern me "

Romulus replied, looking down at the man from the side of his eyes

" Why is that? Sire "

The butler questioned, intrigued to hear his master's reply

" Because, the ones who praise the most normally end up backstabbing the hand that feeds them "

Romulus replied, his deep voice spreading across the hallway, frightening the butler a bit, but he soon regain composure as soon as they reached their destination

" And here we are sire "

The butler said, as Romulus walked toward the end of the hall, which led to an open door, with a chair past it, a very nicely decorated and manufactured chair

" The king! "

One of the spectators yelled as they point up, to the highest chair in the colosseum of viewers, a chair above even the nobles

" King Romulus has blessed us with his presence!

Another spectator yelled, as all of them soon began to do the same, yelling praises at the man they called king.

Romulus had bright blue hair, it was long and beautiful, his eyes were blue, dark blue with a touch of green in his pupils, his physique looked great, amazing, majestic, divine even, his blue kingly attire was no different, this man was truly beautiful

" Do not let me interrupt, continue to watch the fight, that's what we all came here for! "

Romulus yelled, his words echoing across the entire field, making each and every spectator smile as they continued to watch the fight, while the announcer who stared at the king from the sky

" Let your father see, what are you capable of, Arthur "

Romulus whispered to himself as he watched the fight as well, sitting on his throne-like chair while resting his chin on his hand.

The fight continued on, though the fact that his father was there bothered him, Arthur couldn't care less about him, he wanted to best Shu in combat, and so, more effort was put into the battle.

Though, Shu himself was intrigued by that man, his energy was insane, way above that of Ezra's, or at least that was what Shu was thinking as he fought Arthur.

Although that man was far stronger than Arthur, Arthur was still the competition he was eagerly waiting for, meaning, he wouldn't stop fighting as well, adding more effort into the battle.
