The woman

" What a let down "

He said to himself, his disappointed tone echoing across the steamy place before he sighed

" Alright Bjorn, stop playing with that thing "

Shu said already finding himself in between the two fighters, quickly raising his hand before swinging it down, slicing the creature in two, causing such a massive burst of air that it would part the clouds of steam permanently as well as slightly cracking the ground that was fifty feet below them, for they were in the air, floating.

" I had that "

Bjorn replied as he began to descend from the sky, slowly pressing the bottom of his feet against the ground

" Hmm "

Shu would then turn his attention down to Bjorn but as he did so he felt a hand press against the side of his face, which sent him flying down to the ground, crashing against it like an arrow falling from the sky.

" You're Shu "

The creature whispered as its severed body began to reattach itself, first the bones connected, then came the nerves, later the blood that dripped out a bit, and soon after the muscles, followed by the skin, and those odd lines all over its body

" I was told to kill you also "

The creature added as it slowly descended bro the sky, carefully landing on the ground

" Kill me? "

Shu questioned as he would then stand up from the crater he was slapped into, rubbing his cheek a little

" You can't kill me "

Shu added as he appeared in front of the demon looking thing in a blur of speed, his legs parted apart and the tips of his fingers against its chest, soon he'd form a fist and as he did he pushed it forward, punching the creature's chest, drilling a hole in it with the pressure alone

" Oi, Bjorn "

Shu said as he would turn his back to the dying demon, or so he thought, for it began to regenerate just like it did before

" These gauntlets you made me don't work at all, I mean I guess they're sturdy but they don't have any special properties "

Shu said as he started to walk toward the giant dwarf, weaving his hands around which were engulfed with the thin gauntlets made specifically for him

" Huh?— the gauntlets work you just don't know how to use them, also, look behind you "

Bjorn said, and as soon as he ended his sentence Shu tilted his head to the right dodging the creature's claws which almost pierced through his skull

" So then how do I use them? "

Shu questioned before grabbing onto the demon looking thing's wrist, gripping it tightly to then slam it against the ground, cracking the ground even further only to later stomp its chest, breaking its ribs as well as the bones that protected its heart, piercing its organs

" There isn't a manual for it, I create my weapons, and yes I give them their functions and abilities, but I don't know how they can be activated, it all depends on the hosts soul, so try to connect to it spiritually or something "

Bjorn suggested as he would then sit on the ground, watching as the creature began to struggle with the massive pressure that Shu's foot had pressed against its body, soon after energy began to steam out of the creature's skin

" Wait, the soul? Are you saying these gauntlets are living creatures? "

Shu questioned, only receiving a shrug from Bjorn who watched as the creature released a massive amount of energy, pushing Shu away, and once it got the man off it tried to grab his face, but by then Shu had already punch its abdomen five times, which could be seen by the fact that as he backed off, his after images fused into his body.

The creature would twist its body into a ball, trying to stop the pain that Shu's punches had caused him

" Soul? "

Shu said to himself as he would then close his eyes and as soon as he did the gauntlets began to release a blue steam to Bjorn's interest, who carefully watched as the events occurred.

" Soul… "

He whispered once more, as the blue steam that flew out of the gauntlets surrounded his entire body.

All of a sudden Shu found himself a white room, a quiet room, a room who's floors seemed to be made of water because as Shu stepped on it, they rippled, not to mention the fact that he could see his own reflection.

Later, just as how he appeared, a woman came out of nowhere, this woman was beautiful, her skin was dark and smooth, just like her beautiful blue hair, her eyes were perfectly shaped and so was her face, every detail about her face seemed to be shaped and forged by the very gods themselves.

Her eyes seemed normal, though her pupils were completely blue, as blue as the sea, her body was amazing as well, her breasts were big and her body was curved and shaped like an hour glass.

Around her body was a thin black dress made of smooth and thin silk, though despite her beauty, the first thing any person would notice, would be her horns, which stood snuck out of her forehead, they were small and blue, not as big as those that form on Shu's demon self.

The woman would then take a step forward, and then another, the sound of her naked feet pressing against the water like floor could be heard in the form of echoes all around the white space.

Finally the woman took her last step and with it she brought her hands up, grabbing a handful of Shu's face, giving him a warm smile

" You've grown so much, last I saw you, you were barely the size of my hands "

The woman whispered, and just like figure and face, her voice was beautiful, so sounding to the ears that it nearly made Shu cry

" You've grown up to be so handsome, oh how happy I am "

She continued to speak, her smile growing as she spoke about him, Shu couldn't bring himself to reply, as if this woman was the most important person he has ever laid his eyes on.

" I'm sorry, but I have to go, your soul became disconnected from the material world so I figured i should come visit you, and I'm glad I did. I will share every detail of your appearance to Sonma, he'll be so happy to hear about it "

She added, as she would then begin to vanish, her body breaking into pieces as Shu tried to grab onto her hands, not wanting her to go, feeling as his heart told him to hold her back, but it was meaningless, because she simply went away, and later, just how he appeared in that white room, he went back to the place he had came from.

Or at least that was so for him, for Bjorn and the creature Shu had simply opened his eyes after having closed them for half a minute

" What the hell was that "

He said to himself as he tried to rub his head a bit, but as soon as he did the creature had charged at him in an attempt to punch the man, and as it's fists got close to his face, Shu quickly raised his hand and blocked it

" I talked to a woman "

Shu said as Bjorn opened his eyes wide in surprise, he wasn't sure what Shu meant, but he had assumed it was maybe the soul of the gauntlets

" That woman left and as she did, came my understanding for those gauntlets "

Shu added as blue chains would then fly out of his gauntlets, piercing into the creature whom's body immediately turned into nothing but skin and bones, as if those chains had sucked out all of its life force.

What was left of the creature would crash against the floor and Shu would simply close his eyes, rubbing his forehead as he tried to imagine the woman he saw, but he couldn't, he could only remember her beautiful voice and her figure.
