Training schedule

It was a quiet morning, and Shu was just woken up by the light that peaked through his window. He sat up, scratching the back of his head whilst he did so, yawning out loud only to turn to the side, watching his wife sleep soundly.

He smiled and placed a kiss on Ayami's left cheek, getting off from his bed, to then put on a black kimono which he had pulled out of his closet.

Soon after he walked out of his room, looking around a little confused, as he wasn't hearing any voice, normally when he woke up his children would jump all over him, asking him things about how to get stronger or how was his sleep, or did he want to play.

" Well I guess those two haven't woken up yet "

Shu said to himself, yawning whilst walking down the hallway, going to the exit of the castle, opening the door, being blinded by the sun for a few seconds before blinking, finding his entire backyard filled with students yelling, and throwing punches simultaneously at the air.

" What's going on? "

Shu questioned as he looked around, only to feel a hand press against his shoulder, to which he turned, seeing Ean who smiled down at him

" So you finally woke up? "

Ean questioned as he removed his hand from the man's shoulder, walking forward a bit to then raise his arms, making everyone who was throwing punches, stop

" What's going on? "

Shu replied as he himself walked forward, standing beside Ean who couldn't help but chuckle at his response

" Well, I'm preparing our army; I've come up with a new schedule for our troops "

Ean said

" Which is? "

Shu questioned whilst looking up at the man who stared down at him then back at the kids

" I plan to train the children early in the morning and the soldiers at the start of the afternoon "

Ean explained to which Shu nodded, only to take a few steps back once he took a good look at the children.

The kids were moving forward, wanting to take a look at their king, just like the thousands of men and women in the kingdom, these kids have heard incredible stories about their king, and have come to idolize him, so seeing him in person was like meeting a Deity for he was rarely seen in person

" Everyone!! "

Ean yelled as every kid there took a step back, standing straight with their hands tugged tightly against their thighs.

They were all wearing battling kimonos, designed to mimic the old kimonos Shu used to wear when he was younger

" This here is your king! Shu Himura, I want you all to bow, it is disrespectful to not do so in front of your king! "

Ean yelled once again to which the kids replied with a loud " Yes sir! " immediately after the kids would bow their entire upper body, all at the same time, and seconds late they would rise back up again, standing straight to Ean's delight

" Continue to punch until I tell you to stop! "

Ean ordered and the kids listened, proceeding to swing their arms straight forward and slamming their fists against air

" So what, do you just have these kids punch away! Don't they do actual training? "

Shu questioned as he began to walk around, being followed by Ean who placed his hands behind his back, he also was wearing a kimino, a black and white one, opposite to the children which was completely black.

" No, these are just drills, im teaching them discipline on top of martial arts "

Ean said as he would then sigh, stopping mid walk only to be looked at by Shu who took a step forward

" So where are my children? Are you training them as well? "

Shu questioned whilst yawning a bit, showing that he was yet to fully wake up from his slumber

" Yes..but why don't you just go ahead and sense them? Or is it that you can't? "

Ean replied, tilting his head a little, confused at Shu's odd question

" I don't want to, I'm trying to focus on fighting without it, we've gone against enemies who's energy we can not sense, I think it's about time we've started training our senses "

Shu said as he would then leap off of the ground, landing on top of Ean's shoulders, sitting on them as if he were a child

" Hmm, I suppose you're right, we can never be too careful "

Ean whispered to himself, not minding the fact that a grown man had just gotten on top of his shoulders

" Say Ean, I'm kind of bored, why don't we hold a few brawls between the children? See what they're level is at, i mean I'm sure you've been training them all even before I got back, considering I was met by hundreds of them when I stepped foot back into my castle "

Shu said whilst tapping Ean's head, as if to tell him it was a good idea

" Well, I guess we could, but we'll have to keep our children out of it, they are far too advanced even for the older students, not to mention the three of them are as ruthless and careless as we were when we were younger "

Ean replied, to which Shu replied with a smile, remembering how Ean, Arthur and him would constantly compete

" Asami! Dio and Asterlin!! Come forward!! "

Ean yelled, to which the children complied, walking out of the crowd, proceeding to stand beside Ean, all with their arms tugged against their legs

" The king has requested that I hold a few fights between you all, he wishes to see your level. Whoever wants to participate step forward, but please keep in mind that if you do poorly you'll be embarrassed in front of the king, so i suggest you step forward only if you're truly confident of your abilities!! "

Ean yelled, announcing the start of a soon to be, small tournament, to which the children replied to by looking at each other a bit nervously, and after half an hour, only four kids stepped forward

" Alright! let's begin! "
