Chapter 30- E-ranked Regulars Part 2

After killing off the light bearer, Xin continued to wreak havoc in the backline. Without a defender or a fisherman to protect the relatively weak light-bearers and wave controllers, their formation could be broken relatively easily, for Xin that was.

As a member of the Tu Perie family, even though his base physical power was weaker than those from the Khun, Arie, and Ha families, Xin was way above the most regulars, and even compared those massive hybrids regulars. And with his extensive training, his strength had grown exponentially.

Xin was confused when he was told to train with heavy weights because he hadn't heard of such a method of body training. However, after applying that for a while, he felt that his muscles became much stronger and he could unleash much greater strength.

With such advantages, he made a quick work of the light bearers and wave controllers, breaking apart their bones with his powerful strength or stabbing them on their weak spots, bringing each of them down in a single strike.

"That kid isn't bad, his combat skills are above average, especially considering his young age. It's a bit weird to see someone from the ten great of families who doesn't use their inherited talent, though it's not unfounded." The test director commented.

"Indeed, he is not bad, but compared to the fisherman over there, he is sub-par." The Arie Ranker responded as he saw the battle on the other side.

Liu Guanyi calmly stood there with all of the fishermen on the ground. There were only some shallow cuts here and there from the battle. The moment the backline was disrupted, their fates had been sealed. Without the support from the lighthouses, their encirclement couldn't stop him.

The difference in skills and capabilities was just way too much. Liu Guanyi could defeat them without breaking a sweat even when he hadn't made a breakthrough to the Nascent Warrior stage let alone when he had already advanced.

"Incredible! His martial prowess is unimaginable for an unranked regular! How come his body is very tough? Is he a bastard of the Ha family?" The test administrator was astonished.

"Maybe, maybe not. Not everyone with an incredibly strong body hailed from the ten great families. After all, the tower is such a vast place, even those natives are exceptional. Plus, the Ha family members usually fight without any real techniques, their strong bodies make them arrogant and reckless. Idiotic I'd say, no wonder they are nothing special, even Ha Yurin." The Arie spoke derisively.

"Watch your words, idiot! You could be executed if those from the Ha family heard it!" He immediately rebuked his friend's arrogance and stupidity.

"Don't worry, I am a Ranker from the Arie family. They can't do anything to me, the Arie family's glory is way above them, idiots, after all." The white-haired Ranker brushed it off arrogantly.

With the backline in chaos and the vanguard defeated, the three of them ended the battle less than five minutes without a hitch. Honestly, only Adori alone was more than enough to defeat them all. Her performance in the battle was extremely remarkable.

She defeated more than half of the regulars without being serious and injured!

The Rankers were speechless, they evaluated that her true power was approximately around C-ranked regulars! This meant that she directly skipped two whole ranks!

How strong she would be when she became a C-ranked regular? Would she be able to defeat an A-ranked regular? Regardless she would be able to do it or not, it was an indisputable fact that she was a monster among monsters.

"This is the best team I have ever seen, there is no weak links between them. Each of them is very strong and excellent in their roles. They only need a decent light bearer and they will make a perfect team." The test director commented.

The Arie Ranker nodded. "Let's not make them wait any longer. We must congratulate them, right?"

He hopped down to the arena as the test director followed suit.

"Congratulations, all of you! You are now E-ranked regulars! You can stay here indefinitely or you can go to the lower floors if you want to enjoy your lives, but I am sure that you want to continue to the top, right?" He smiled as he asked a rhetorical question.

Adori and Liu Guanyi nodded at his question. It was too easy to choose. Even if their power weren't this strong, they would still choose to go on let alone when they overpowered every regular and were unmatched till this date. Furthermore, they were becoming stronger and weren't complacent to keep improving.

If those weaklings could go up and become Rankers, why couldn't they?

The Arie Ranker happily smiled. "Why don't you stay here a bit longer? I can teach you the way of the sword, Princess Adori. And my friend here could train your teammates, what do you say?"

"Hey, you are increasing my workload! I am not paid enough for this!" The test director complained.

"Oh, shut up! Don't you want to see for yourself their growth? Even if you don't, we can make them owe us a favor. So, how about it, Princess Adori? I might not be the best, but I can teach you my experience as a swordsman from the Arie family." The Ranker offered himself casually.

Adori didn't answer outright instead she glanced toward Liu Guanyi. He saw Adori looking in his direction as their eyes met one another. Seeing this, he nodded.

"I accept." Adori answered curtly.

Seeing her response, the test director and the Arie ranker turned to look at Liu Guanyi and wondered. 'Who is this guy? Why did the princess turn to get his opinion before deciding the answer? It looks like he has some influence on her. Well… it doesn't matter…. she agreed anyway.'

"Good, you can rest for today. However, I hope you better prepare yourselves tomorrow because we won't go easy on you guys." The horned-Ranker spoke with a grin on his face.
