A train was moving on its rail at a high speed.

It had white color on both its sides and an orange color on the top, and since the train had many sections, it stretched more than a hundred meters long. Its interior was painted white with some blue on some of its parts.

There were many white chairs with blue hand-holders arranged neatly. The same with the other parts, the floors had a white color, but the notable thing was, it was kept pristine without any speck of dirt.

Overall, with everything combined, it looked like the usual business class train.

That was if everyone ignored the tense atmosphere inside the train.

The passengers were seated on the chairs as they kept sending glances to each other, studying one another with wary expressions. Some of them even put their hands on their weapon's handle, ready to act as fast as possible at any signs of hostility.

However, looked like not all of the passengers had the same sentiment as two regulars at the furthest row talked to each other casually, not minding the tense atmosphere and their fellow passengers who were staring at each other aggressively as if a confrontation was about to happen at any second.

"Hey, it's been a while, how you're doing? It's nice to meet you again after all these years since our time on the 20th floor." A man with a red jacket spoke with a surprised but happy voice as he smacked the other regular's head.

"Hey, it's you, Alex!" The other regular, a man with a green suit, returned back his greeting with a soft punch at his chest as he exclaimed in surprise seeing his long acquaintance.

"Indeed, it really has been a while. I am doing good since then, what about you?" The man in a green suit cheerfully asked back his friend.

"I am doing good as well, in fact, I have improved a lot since the 20th floor. This is why I want to try to ride and experience the infamous Hell train. There are so many rumors talking about the treasures and secrets on the train so I want to check it out."

"Although I'm sure you are here for them as well, you are more interested in enjoying the thrills, right, Yuwen?"

"Hahaha, you always know me, Alex! Of course, it's not me if I don't chase and enjoy dangerous and thrilling experiences." The green-suited man, Yuwen, laughed loudly as he patted his friend's back.

"To me, life isn't worth it if it's just an endless monotony. I prefer being dead over living such a boring life. As long it's exciting, I won't mind dying young than living a long life but having to be mindful and careful over everything. As they said, we only live once so live your fullest." He spoke with a smirk.

Shaking his head, Alex spoke. "You haven't really changed, haven't you?"

Hearing this, Yuwen looked offended. "What do you mean? Can't you see that I have become a lot stronger?"

However, after looking at Alex's expressionless face, he quickly laughed. "Joking bro, If I change so drastically in just a dozen of years, how I can be called, Yuwen?"

"Jeez… alright, I get it, I get it." Alex groaned annoyedly. "Rather than talking about useless things, let's move on to a serious subject, okay?"

"Alright man, fine. Roll away."

"Do you have the ticket?"

"The ticket? Oh, you meant the Hell train's ticket?" Yuwen asked as Alex nodded seriously.

"Well, I ain't got nothing. You know I'm not the type to prepare everything beforehand."

"Well, I have expected this answer from you, but I always try to give people the benefit of a doubt. I want to team up with you but I only get a single ticket even with my best efforts. I guess I am lucky to even get one, there are only a hundred of them at the same time after all."

While the both of them were chatting casually, a tall man entered the compartment from the front. As he was walking, his eyes darted from side to side rapidly like a hawk eyeing its target.

He continued to walk until he passed by the two as his eyes darted toward them. Seeing the man stopped near them, they glanced at him for a second before he walked away, and they and returned back to their conversation.

However, the tall man suddenly turned around and attacked Alex without any signs with the needle in his hand. Even when caught off guard, Alex managed to dodge it and quickly readied himself with his own needle.

"Hooh, are you one of those ticket hunters? How did you know I have a ticket?" Alex spoke calmly unfazed by the sudden attack, showing his experience as an above-average D-ranked regular.

The attacker merely smirked. "Heh, I had a hunch."

"Well, whatever. You're dead anyway." Alex closed the distance and quickly engaged in a swordfight against the tall man. In just a few seconds of a scuffle, Alex managed to corner the regular with his superior skill and dexterity.

"It seems that you can't estimate your and your opponents' skills, unfortunately, there's no next time for you." Alex said as he had broken his opponents' defense and was about to deliver a lethal blow.

"Are you sure?" Struggling, the tall man sneered.

Suddenly, the passengers who had only watched on the sidelines attacked him from the back, forcing him to abandon the chance to finish the regular off.

However, it didn't end there as he was quickly surrounded by the regulars. Using all of his efforts, he tried to hold all of them down.

Unfortunately, even when Alex managed to knock one of them down, their friends swiftly blocked him from trying to finish him.

Soon, he was fatigued and his speed slowed down as he was quickly overwhelmed. "Damn, what are you doing Yuwen?! Don't just gawk and stand there, help me!" Alex yelled to his friend.

Suddenly, a severed head was tossed in the air as the regulars were astonished.

"Well, well… I thought you have forgotten about me. You guys look pretty serious so I don't want to bother you, but I can't really let my friend die, so sorry about that."
