CHAPTER 14: The Promise

Cobwebs hung everywhere and unlit old torches were seen as we walked past through this dim and narrow hallway. The lights from our flashlight are the only thing that helped us to see in this wood paneled underground. We were a bit reluctant to go into this hidden underground as we go deeper. We never know what could be in there but something was telling me to go on. I took a big gulp as I forced myself to go deeper and lead in this unknown basement with a tight grip on my light.

As we strode into the dark hall, our lights captured something at the end of the hall. It was a dark wooden door. When I got closer to the door the first thing I noticed was that there were no door handles. Confused, I then veered around.

"Now what?" I asked them as I turned around and looked at them.

Noah then put his hands on his hips as he tilted his head and replied, "I'm sure it's a push-pull situation" he replied with certainty.
