Everyone was silent, no one dared to make the first move yet. Oliver then started to speak. "So, this is what you do. You try to play god, acting like you have all the power to stop me. You all don't have the power to stop anything. I'm the final-" he was cut off with a swift grab to the face by Gabriel, and thrown to the ground. The shockwave shook the cube they were in. "Enough of your nonsense. Shut up and fight us if you got the balls." he said menacingly. Oliver looked at him with disbelief that he wasn't nervous or anything. He then made multiple clones of himself, and broke out of Gabriel's hold. Harris looked at them and counted. "Let's see..one, two, three, four..seven, eight..ten. Why ten?" he asked, then he realized that Jay, Angakok, and Mirai were invisible and waiting for a sneak attack, but they were already found out and unmasked themselves. They didn't exactly change their clothes, but their energies were incredibly higher than before. Angakok inhaled greatly, then let out a seemingly divine roar from his own soul. "BRING IT ON ALREADY!!!!!!!" he yelled, and the clones started to attack them all at the same time. Normally in a fight between divine beings and mortals, the divine will win every time, but this time was different. Jay used his Ghastly Possession to possess every projectile thrown his way and use it as his own attack, and possessing rocks with his arms and legs to attack with. Harris and Tasha combined their powers to make massive fists of flowing lava with sharp plants that couldn't burn in order to cause extra damage, while Satina and Gabriel combined their powers together to cause a Holy-Demonic Union that caused burning pain that seemed to burn into the bones. Quason used his powers over the six paths to great effect, each path being used in rapid succession along with his seemingly light speed slash attacks, and mixing his paint brush to cause extra damage.
Mirai seemed to have entirely new spells, his Majutsu training bolted him to new levels of power and he partially summoned various yokai appendages to fight with, along with using his own pin point fighting style to hit the pressure points and damage the joints. Ben used his new astral powers to attack with an astral double of himself, and swung a seemingly heavy axe like it was made of paper. Ursa combined her lance with her star powers so her weapon would burn like ten suns, and shoot quasar-like beams of energy. Oliver was barely able to keep up with them in the chaos. How was he losing, how were they all able to deny what he's become? He then tried to use a void spell to absorb Tasha, but it was deflected by a seed bomb she flung before he even tried it. It was like they were all reading his mind, and he was getting even more angry. The more damage he took, the more angrier he got. Finally his anger reached it's peak, and he absorbed all his clones and sent out waves of energy whip attacks that bounced off of the walls of the cube. They were flying all over the place randomly, his yells echoing throughout the cube like a child throwing a tantrum. Everyone batted away his whips as best they could, but their new power was beginning to cause them to unleash too much power at once, damaging the cube. Ursa grabbed Oliver from behind to stop his arms, then suplexed him into the ground again, making sure his head stayed buried into the concrete. His body went limp, he didn't move an inch to free himself, all he did was sit there for some strange reason. Suddenly, the cube started to crack and fall apart like glass, and Oliver pulled himself up from the hole while smiling.
"I underestimated you. Seems this is necessary after all. Void Sludge, lend me all the power to vanquish these fools who protect an illusion!" he yelled into the sky. Gabriel tried to stop him with a rapier of light, but it was too late as he already drank it all down. A void field formed around him, swallowing whatever entered his space into an endless void, so no one could do anything but watch. His skin turned pitch black and he grew wild horns, his body started to twist and contort, his bones cracking and rearranging themselves into a hideous monster like form. Spiked pierced out of his back, his arms grew longer and thinner along with his legs, a dark shroud formed a large amount of hair on his back and his hands grew large claws. He was bleeding out all over the place, much more than any human can handle, and he still smiled as his eyes turned jet black, and his teeth grew large and pointed. At the end of his wicked transformation, he resembled something like a wendigo, but much more horrendous. All anyone could do was look in horror at what he became, and how much more powerful he was. There was no doubt his real body wasn't there, and the whole fight they went through wasn't close to putting a dent in him, he was just angry he was being upstaged. He then saw a little goat mazoku shaking in fear a few hundred yards away from him, and fired a beam of dark energy at it. Harris noticed just before the beam started, and raced to save the boy. It was almost too late, but he made it just in time to move him out of the way before he was hit. When Harris looked back, all that was there was a dark miasma, and when it cleared Oliver had vanished. No one even realized he was going, they assumed it was an attack.
Everyone sat in the middle of the road silent, wondering just what lengths he was going to go in order to see his hypocrisy to the end. The young goat mazoku walked up to Harris, and tugged on his coat. "I-I just wanted..to thank you mister.." he said nervously. Harris's face loosened up, and saw that he was actually alone. He decided to read his mind to find out if he got lost, but saw that his mother and father had died already, and that he was wandering the city alone. That gave him the idea to adopt him, so he went down to the orphanage center to fill everything out. After about an hour, everyone met at Harris's house again in order to discuss their next move. "I think, maybe we should wait just one day, see what happens. With any luck he'll reveal himself first. Till then, get a good night's sleep. We know what we're up against, so he can't take us by surprise anymore" Tasha said before heading out with Ben. Everyone agreed and went home, and Harris tucked his new son to bed along with him, even though no one needed the sleep, it was nice to do anyway.
