It's 7 in the morning right now and I have to go to school myself cause dad has some other work. I'm so excited, I'm not sure if I'll see him again, but still I hope I do. The whole night I couldn't sleep I kept making fake scenerios about him and me.

"Maa, I'm leaving", I tell mom while putting on my shoes.

"Yah, safe travelling, love you"

"Love you too"

It's still early and there are not many people on the road. I stand near the bustop and wait for my bus. The bus arrives soon and I get a place to sit. I plug in my earphones and let the music take over my mood.

As my stop comes, I get down and walk towards my school. Looking at my school I realise I have to climb 4 floors again. I curse and start climbing. The bell rings and everyone starts rushing to their classes along with me. I enter the class and wave at the two friends I had made yesterday, Anna and Payal. Both are really nice and we make a good trio. I sit down next to Payal. The teacher enters with a smile plastered on her face.

"Good Morning everyone"

We all stand up and wish "Good morning" in a some what streched way.

"Sit down"

"Lily", I hear someone call.

"Uh?", I turn towards the voice.

"Omg, Abhi how are you?'

"I'm cool what about you?

"Yeah, I'm cool too. I didn't know you shifted your school too."

Wow, the all great Abhi in my class? This year is going to be fun.

"Well yeah, had too. It's closer to my new house"

"Oh that's good", I say and glance at the board and from the corner of my eyes I catch a familiar figure. My heart beat accelerates. My breath hinges. Oh god, it's him, but why is he coming to my class?

"Come in", I hear the teacher tell him.

Omg, what's happening? Wait, why am I overreacting so much. Chill out, Lily. Chill.

He steps in and everyone's eyes are on him, literally like how a male lead enters in movies and dramas. I look at him, he walks straight into the class and stands next to the teacher.

"Class this is a new student, like many of you guys here. He recently shifted from another city. Hope you all get along and make more friends."

He is in my class? I'm going to faint. Can I be anymore lucky? God, thank you so much. I love you so much.

"Go on, sit down"

"Yes ma'am"

I think he is going to the behind benches, his eyes are on them, he has to walk past me to go there. I sit straight and act like I'm writing down something while still having an eye on me.

I look up, he looks at me. I stop breathing. He walks past. Did he just notice me?! What if I remain in his head, like how he is in my head? I should stop thinking, I'm going mad.

The bell rings, first class ends and the teacher walks out, we have a 10 minutes break before the next class. Payal and Anna are discussing something, I turn behind and glance at him once before joining my friends. He is sitting behind Abhi. Wow, I can just pretend to talk to Abhi to look at him. Cool. Oh, shoot. I don't even know his name. Ok! My next aim is to know his name.

"Lily?", Payal calls me.

"Uh? Sorry I was thinking something. What did you say?"

"Who was that guy you talked to before the class?"

"That guy in red jacket?" I turn back and point at Abhi.

"Shhhhh, don't point your hand. They'll think we are talking about them", Anna says.

"As if we are not"

"Still we can't let them know"

"Okok, he is Abhi, from my previous school. We were in the same class, but weren't that close."

"Oh, I see", Anna says with a smile.

Wait a minute, is Anna crushing on Abhi? Was she jealous of me? Omg, don't laugh Lily. You are making it obvious. I should ask Anna directly, but not now. I'll wait for the right time.

"Lily" I hear someone call me again.

I turn and my eyes land on him. He is looking at me. I slowly look at Abhi trying to not act like I just got caught. Even though it was me who had caught him.

"Hey, you want to catch up later after classes? I know a nice place we can go, you can call your friends too.", Abhi says.

I subconsciously look at Anna, she is looking at me, anticipating an answer. Am I going to be a wingman now? Hell, yeah.

"Yeah, sure. I'll come", I say to Abhi and then I ask my friends, "You guys are coming too right?"

"Yeah, why not", Anna says. Smooth girl.

I look at Payal. She looks like something is troubling her.

"Hey, you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, but I don't think I can come you guys go. I have some work at home"

"Oh okay"

I sense something is wrong, but I throw it behind my head as the next teacher steps in.

After struggling to work out the problems in maths class, finally the day came to an end. Uff, it's too much of work. The teacher steps out and I pack my stuff and get ready to leave the class. I look at Abhi, he nods at me and then he nods at 'him'. Shit. He's coming too? Like yeah, obviously he was sitting behind Abhi, they would have talked and become friends. Abhi would have invited him, but how could I not have imagined this? It feels like studying all night and still failing, I pout and head out with Anna and Payal. Payal bades bye to us and we both join Abhi and 'him'. God, I need to know his name first.

We four walk together, me between Abhi and Anna and he is to the other side of Abhi. I build up my courage and look at him and say, "Heyy, can I know your name?"

"I'm Ruthvik", he says with a smile.

"Oh, nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too"

I didn't mess up right? Was it a too straight question? Whatever I got to know his name. Ruthvik. Cool, and his killer smile, god. I'm simping way too much. I should stop.
