Chapter 20: Disturbances
A group of adventurers from the adventurer guild were investigating the cavern where the scourges fought in, in the hand of the leader was the jade fragment that was handed in to them.
"Just give them a promotion, and tell them to not speak of this" A young pink haired man ordered
"Yes sir" An adventurer responded before heading off
"This is the 3rd case we found, all with different prophecies" the pink haired man muttered "The guild master said that it shouldn't released to the public, at least not yet, so I better follow his advice"

"You stop hearing that voices of yours now?" Siege asked as Perseus woke up
"Yeah, if stopped the moment we left that stupid place" Perseus rubbed his head "You guys really didn't hear it?"
"No" Ace shook his head "Maybe it's like in the stories, maybe you are some sort of chosen one"
"I wish, but come on, let's wash up and get breakfast, we got a lot more things to plan" Perseus got up "We're visiting the cemetery today"

When Perseus and the spirit beasts arrive at the stairs, they heard loud music and shouting from the outside
"Um guys, what's with all the ruckus this morning?" Perseus asked as he came down the stairs"
"One of Dabria's suitors, he's been really insistent and annoying" Nova answered
"How does he know where we live?! We should report this to the enforcers" Dabria exclaimed "I'm sick and tired of this"
"Maybe he found out about our guild, the location of our guild's headquarter which is our house, and that information is public after all" Perseus suggested
"Perseus, get your guns and I'll get my bow, no one is laying their hands on my cousin" Elliot said as he pulled out his bow from his ring "And also he's very loud and annoying"
"Are you seriously trying to kill him?!" Nova gasped
"Yeah, be more civilized Elliot, killing him will make the front of our house dirty. I got tasers, we can shoot his balls and it'll be more painful" Perseus responded as he took a taser "I always want a good reason to hurt a pureblood"
"Great idea!" Elliot nodded "Give me one too"
"Stop it you 2" John said as he then open the door "I'll take care of this"
After a while they heard a carriage leaving the front of their house as John head back inside
"You must have had it worse during your years at the academy" John sighs
"Tell me about it" Dabria replied "Nova was also popular among the girls, and some of them even pass out just by talking to him"
"Well unlike just blatantly showing up to our doorsteps with several musicians and a bouquet flower while wearing a strong perfume, they got their parents to send letters of invitation" John responded "I feel bad for your parents, they can't just outright burn it without offending them, so they have to write a reply in your stead while you're all gone"
"Well let's have breakfast, I'm hungry" Nova rubbed his stomach

Perseus poured out orange juice in a glass to place it in front of father Jake's gravestone.
"Orange juice, it was always his favorite" Siege said as he sit down
"And apple juice was mine, but he always said that it was too sugary so we couldn't have it often" Perseus sighs "...Being instantly promoted to a tier 3 after 1 quest feels wrong, it took Elliot about a year to become a tier 3"
"Well since we cleared a quest that normally wouldn't be possible for ones at our level, I think we deserved it" Siege replied "Our guild also got promoted to a tier 2, which is a good sign, though I still do not like our name, ominous scourges"
"Yeah, we're basically calling ourselves troublemakers" Ace agreed "We're going to a floating city after this, I'm looking forward to it"
"It's more of a floating nation, but floating city does sound better, but yeah, I'm looking forward to it too" Perseus nodded

"I thought you use ships to sail across the waters, not to fly around" Perseus looked at the ship in front of him
"Well seems like you live at the right time, little boy" the captain of the ship laughed "She will get us to Modia smoothly, see those thrusters over there, one of the best of its time"
"I rented us a private one since we got a lot in our budget, especially after our last encounter" Nova said "Come on, let's go and hope that we don't meet sky pirates during our few hour trip"

Their ship was flying over the seas as the small party of people relaxed on the flying ship.
"So what are we doing this time?" Emma asked
"Well I got us a few easy bounty, we just gotta catch them and turn them in to the enforcers, who in return will give us a paper to give back to the adventurer guild saying that we completed the job" Nova answered
"Well just know that I will not be speaking to those enforcers nor am I going to put one foot into their office unless absolutely necessary" Perseus reminded them
"We know" Nova replied
"Hey, you adventurers, man the cannon!" The old captain shouted "I spotted half a dozen ships following us, and they're definitely sky pirates, shoot them down as I fly us away"
"Fun, you guys know the drill" Nova chuckled "Man the cannons, use your arcana to charge them and shoot all of them down"
