Part Twenty Three

One week later I just started school. For a few days after school, I was forced to go back and forth to the hospital, I had to take turns with my father taking care of my stepfather.

The brothers and sisters occasionally came to visit my stepfather while they mother couldn't come because she was busy working.

My stepfather has not woken up from his sleep since the accident, the doctor said that he is still in the process of recovering after the accident, the nurse regularly checks his condition After almost a month, finally my stepfather was allowed to go home, but not to my father's and my house but to the mother's house, the brother and sister.

I wonder why since my stepfather has woken up from his sleep, he doesn't seem to recognize me and my papa and why after leaving the hospital he has to live with his mother and children.

Then I asked this to my daddy

"What's wrong with dad?" ask me

"What do you mean" my dad asked back

"Why he don't remember papa and Adit?" ask I'm curious

"Why does he has to live with Aunt Shintya?" I ask again

my papa was silent for a moment hearing my question then he inhaled and exhaled and answered it

"Due to the accident that your father had he had memory loss, he forgot that I was his husband, he forgot that you are his son" my papa is emotional

"He only remembers that Shintya is his wife, he doesn't remember that he and his ex-wife are divorced. He remembers that Bella and Ade are his children" my father added emotion

I was surprised, shocked not expecting to hear that coming out of my own papa's mouth, my papa cried and I realized then slowly approached my papa and hugged him.

I tried to calm my papa who was sobbing on my shoulder.

I finally found out that my stepfather is the brother and sister's father which means the brothers are my step brothers
