A New Spacetime!

Nico and Syoko are relaxing back at Conton City in their new apartment they bought together from collective money they've gathered on missions.

"This new place isn't half bad!" Syoko laughed and sat down on the couch. she looked over to Nico who seemed rather somber. "what's wrong?" Syoko asked.

"Im tired, after all these missions I feel like I should stop" Nico sighs and sits at the counter.

"Maybe you should go hang out with Xeno and shake off this feeling" Syoko smiled and looked at Nico.

"You're right I shouldn't mope around" Nico laughed and walked out the door into the open air taking in the city around him. "Man this place has changed a lot" Nico found himself strolling through the city that he holds so dear to him. When he spotted Xeno talking to Yamcha.

"I'm telling you bro! The ladies can't get enough of Yamcha!" Xeno just looked at his master dumbfounded. "Yeah you go Yamcha!" Puar cheered on his long-time friend.

"Yamcha i don't think any lady likes you" Xeno deadpanned and sighed. Yamcha looked heartbroken.

"Maybe i needed the truth" Yamcha started to walk away dejected.

"You'll find the one someday!" Xeno yelled out after Yamcha who just waved back. "Maybe I was a bit too harsh" Xeno chuckled to himself and turned around spotting Nico walking toward him.

"Hey Xeno!" Nico called out to his long time rival.

"Nico! Long time no see!" Xeno smirked and approached Nico

"No kidding, I've been thinking about retiring. I just want to live a peaceful life with Syoko" Nico smiled and laughed a bit.

"Retire? Dude you're still in your prime!" Xeno was visibly shocked.

"I know but sometimes you just gotta know when to-" Suddenly Chronoa came over the loudspeaker in a panic.

"All time patrollers! Alert there's a rip in spacetime near the-" The Supreme Kai of time was cut off as Xeno and Nico were pulled into the rip.

It feels like several hours had passed for the two and when they woke up they found themselves behind bars and equipped with some kind of bracelet. Nico looked around and saw they were chained up in a dimly lit room when he heard footsteps getting closer.

"Look whos finally awake" The mysterious figure laughed and continued. "You must be confused as to where you are"

"Damn right I am!" Nico yelled at the figure obscured by the shadows.

"Aren't you a lively one?" The figure sighed. "You'll find out where you are soon enough, Guards!" Suddenly a pair of guards appeared and grabbed Nico. he tried fighting back but all of his power was gone.

Nico was dragged away and Xeno was still out cold. Soon Nico saw a bright light getting closer and was blinded by it. When Nico finally opened his eyes he saw a colosseum. Nico was thrown into the dirt still chained in shackles.

"Welcome One and All!" A voice came from the loud speaker. "We have a good one for you today! We found two new contestants!" the crowd in the seats around erupted in a cheer.

"Where am i?" Suddenly the shackles fell off and someone came into view on the other side of the arena.

"Well well If it isn't another Saiyan i have to kill" Nico recognized that voice it was.

"Freiza! Vs Unknown!" the speaker cut off Nico's thoughts. "Let the Slaughter begin."
