As a young woman Adair Fox enters the civilization test, the most difficult test in the entirety of the Galactic Empire, in hopes of achieving that highest of honors and finally becoming eligible to meet her parents. During the test Adair acts out of desperation and uses a dangerous ritual to save her people, only to get betrayed by them shortly after. Unfortunately not only does Adair fail the test, but she also finds herself trapped in a void for thousands of years until she eventually meets up with another being. She makes a deal with the Reincarnation Machine, which allows her to go back in time and become a sorceress.

The Forgotten Ability

Cassandra acted pretty quickly, which caused Adair to notice that something was going on. When she looked up, she noticed that a new stage was set up and this one appeared to be cushioned, which gave it a very strange look, almost as if it was meant to be in a bounce house instead of a here, but after a moment a robot wearing silver armor and a short sword was brought into the area as well. 


This change happened pretty quickly, which caused her to ask Cassandra what was going on, to which she responded with, "since you have so much faith in your staff, I wanted to see you use it in action vs. this robot." 


This worried Adair since she was unsure if she could actually beat the robot. Even though she had a ton of faith in her staff, she did not have any training in any fighting and worried that she would do a disservice to it.
