As a young woman Adair Fox enters the civilization test, the most difficult test in the entirety of the Galactic Empire, in hopes of achieving that highest of honors and finally becoming eligible to meet her parents. During the test Adair acts out of desperation and uses a dangerous ritual to save her people, only to get betrayed by them shortly after. Unfortunately not only does Adair fail the test, but she also finds herself trapped in a void for thousands of years until she eventually meets up with another being. She makes a deal with the Reincarnation Machine, which allows her to go back in time and become a sorceress.

The Forgotten Ability

<p>The problem was that she really did not know how to improve. She hoped that the magical classes that she was taking at the school would be able to help her, but she knew that she needed to start from the basics, which meant that even if there was the ability to help her, it was probably a very advanced skill which she would not be learning for years which meant that she probably needed to come up something on her own.</p>

<p>She realized that this was also probably not an option, at least for a long time, since the amount of time and effort that went into creating something original that had no loopholes or easy bypasses and that it probably would be faster to just get a device that was able to help her fix this issue, so she added this to the list of things that she needed to ask Roxanne when she had the chance, so much a situation didn't happen again.</p>
