As a young woman Adair Fox enters the civilization test, the most difficult test in the entirety of the Galactic Empire, in hopes of achieving that highest of honors and finally becoming eligible to meet her parents. During the test Adair acts out of desperation and uses a dangerous ritual to save her people, only to get betrayed by them shortly after. Unfortunately not only does Adair fail the test, but she also finds herself trapped in a void for thousands of years until she eventually meets up with another being. She makes a deal with the Reincarnation Machine, which allows her to go back in time and become a sorceress.

The Forgotten Ability

<p>As she was brought out of the healing room, she thought that the training would be in the same area as the previous training simulations took place, but she was wrong since while they were still headed up to near the top of the pyramid, but they went down one of the hallways and entered a room which seemed to be fortified or disconnected from the rest of the pyramid since right as she entered the room it felt as if she was cut off from the rest of the world.</p>

<p>It took her a second to realize why she felt like this, and she noticed that somehow this room was completely devoid of any type of mana. She was not quite sure how she lived in her previous life without feeling mana since it felt like when she couldn't sense it that something with dramatically off with the world, and her instincts were telling her to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.  </p>
