If Mink Street could be considered a prime location, then Rhine Street would belong to the city center, where the city hall was located.

"Okay, Aunt Mary, got it. I'd like to take a shower first," Karen said.

"Mm, you should rest early."

But just as he was heading upstairs, the sound of a car pulling up outside announced Uncle Mason's return with Mrs. Ximor.

Mrs. Ximor, somewhere around her thirties, was simply dressed.

Following her was Uncle Mason, carrying numerous large and small bags full of shoes, clothes, and handbags.

"Mason, why didn't you take Mrs. Ximor home?" Aunt Mary asked.

She thought after they finished shopping, Mrs. Ximor should have been taken back home first. Why did Uncle Mason bring her to their home at such a late hour?

The body wouldn't be dealt with and the funeral wouldn't be held until days later. It wasn't common for someone to hurry the process like Mr. Mozam's kids had.
