Seeing that Shard didn't understand any of this, Priest Augustus stopped walking, and together with Shard, they looked out the window at the morning scenery of Dawn Square:
"Shard, you obviously can't supervise the workers all day at home. Though the construction team I recommended is reliable and won't cause you trouble, how will you handle any issues during the construction process? Have them report daily? And do you really feel comfortable letting a group of strangers stay in your home?"
"This..."
Old Cleric patted Shard's shoulder:
"Ah, young people are really not reliable in these matters. In that case, I will assign a supervisor from the church as your representative to assist you with the house maintenance during the construction process."
"Then how should I pay him? Daily or weekly?"
Shard immediately asked.
"Salary?"
Priest Augustus looked at him curiously:
"Why would you pay a salary?"
"Hmm?"
