The Tale of Some Random Shinobi

The unknow perpetrator revealed himself, which happened to be an anbu.


More specifically an anbu member that I had appointed to watch over Naruto, had entered my office.


-Sandaime-sama, I came today to report about Naruto!(anbu)


-Yes! I am sorry to scare you my lord, nothing happened to him that is worth mentioning, however, he seems to have made a new friend.(anbu)


(What?! Naruto has made a new friend?! Is he from a shinobi clan? If it is we will have to investigate the possible motives behind this action.)


-Do you have the information about the child?


The anbu member handed me a file with the information sheet and the photo of a child that I had never seen before.


There's really nothing out of the norm with this file but perhaps....?


He was an orphan...due to the kyuubi incident...this could be potential threat. I know that most villagers would not easily divulge Naruto's information to the children, besides vague stories but still.


-Yes Sandaime sama! We confirmed that all the information we have checks out and nothing unusual was reported, also we are positive that this is the 1st time these 2 have interacted.(anbu)


-I see, I want another anbu to be deployed and begin a surveillance operation. I want them to investigate not just the child but the orphanage as well, just to be sure that there is nothing more behind this event.


After he had said those words the anbu that came into my office disappeared by using a body flicker technique.


There is a lot left to be desired in his way of using this technique, but I guess not everyone can be as talented as Minato, Shisui, Kakashi and Itachi.


Speaking of Shisui and Itachi those 2 have truly become remarkable as of late.


Their names have been spoken more frequently among the shinobi ranks and even civilians in the village.


(*sigh* If only it wasn't for the Uchiha's standing in the village perhaps...no, I trust them.


However it is without a doubt that the divide between the Uchiha clan and the village has deteriorated further as of late, if things continue at this rate...this village may face something that it will never recover from. *sigh*)


I looked at once again at the file that was on top of my desk.


(Let's just hope this child has nothing to do in this matter.)

(Damn, I wish it was pretty girl but probably not. My mind knows that if true, it must be some dude, more precisely between 2 ugly asses geezers. It could only be Hiruzen or Danzo, but they won't find anything from a 4 years old brat. However, Danzo likes them young and if he sees an opportunity he will take it!)


I looked at the full moon from outside the window of my room.


It seems so pretty, but too bad that it is home to a major creep with no eyes, the previous home of a giant monster and in the future it will be cut in half.


This world really is too dangerous for someone like me to live in.


The rule of law is also weird and murders are so common here.


I am pretty sure that there is no word for serial killers in this world. Instead it would be included in a subsection of a dictionary to describe shinobis to the public.
