The Art of War

I see banners flying in the distance. From the enemy army. They are almost here. They're about to reach the killing fields. My soldiers have dug a trench network. I told them that they were only going to be here for roughly 2 days. And in two days they've gotten an entire trench Network already dug. And laid Barbwire down over 2 acres but I guess that's what I get for having 140,000 troops at my disposal. I talk to the commander. The commander of the army. The officer I assigned wear's an officer uniform that is entirely black with metals decorated on it. And an insignia on his helmet made of gold, his gas mask with a gold skull. To easily tell that he is an officer, he carries around a cavalry sword and a pistol, a Mauser C 96. I ask myself how my soldiers will perform in battle. I wonder how well they will do. And if they do well I want to reward them but how. Oh well We'll cross that bridge when we get there. I look to the battlefield. Enemy marches in line formation with their banners flying high in the sky. They have mounted Cavalry in the front. knights entirely dressed in plate armor on horseback with lances at the Ready. My officer gives a speech he tells my men. ``Men this man here has summoned us he has created us out of his own thoughts. we are to serve him as best we can. We shall not die unless he tells us to. we shall not surrender unless he commands it. we shall not kill unless told to do so. This man might as well be your father but he is also one of your brothers. He will fight with us because he's not a coward so we have to show him neither are we. If we have to, we will lay down our lives for him. to protect him we do not show any fear in the face of the enemy no matter their numbers. no matter how beaten down we are, how tired we are, and how malnutrition our bodies are, we shall fight to the death. to the very end with our last breath. We shall pull the trigger one last time for our brother and for he is our creator. we shall die for him and for him alone. " The men cheer and raise their rifles in the air my officer draws sword and yells "men at the ready" the men immediately snap to attention and draw their guns and point them in the direction of the enemy my officer than yells "fix bayonets be ready for blood" all of my men grab their bayonets from their belt and in perfect Rhythm slide them on to the tip of their rifles they're all equipped with a lighter version of my BAR The enemy has finally reached the killing Fields the cavalry instantly charge forward my Hellfire cannons start to open up the earth shakes and trembles is the giant cannons pound into the ground I looked at the distance to see explosions and critters being smashed and dug into the earth the cavalry that once were charging us or no nothing misst and gore The nights charge forward wearing the full plate armor they are able to run through the constant rain of hellfire but not without losing a few thousand men here and there The reach the 300 year mark and they're slowly closing in my 20 mills in rifleman start opening up I think to myself damn I should've summoned some machine guns too late now the night start dropping like dead flies the body start piling up within 15 minutes over 70,000 dead there are no survivors i Peer through some binoculars to see the enemy commanders in the back hiding next to the woods their faces in shocking and disbelief I look back to the battlefield. I just see corpses so mutilated that I can barely tell what they even were I just see piles of blood and guts were men once stood scrap metal that was once armor now lay staggered about the battlefield A long banner stands in the center of the battlefield tattered and drenched in blood the man that held it long since dead at least crooked in the earth slowly flapping in the breeze swords stuck in the earth all across the battlefield were men have died I can barely tell that this is even a fight this is a slaughter The enemy commanders send even more men hell I shouldn't even say men I should say boys to their deaths this time they come At us with their entire military force 530,000 their entire military force charges through no man's land as hellfire reigns upon them as each shell lands 1000 die they finally reach the 200 yard Mark The 20 mills spray into the crowd of soldiers the rifleman shooting and firing their guns as fast as they can I look to see the inside of the trenches the floor where you step is nothing but bullet casings look back to the battlefield the enemy soldiers are starting to get Tangled in the Barbwire they struggle to get free but they don't have a chance to their instantly silenced with a few rifle rounds I get a hold of my officer and a hand him MG 42 he bows his head with appreciation he then turns to the enemy and opens up blue fire spits from the barrel casings fall to the ground in the stream the fighting continues for about 30 minutes there's roughly about 100 to 200 enemy soldiers alive my commander then yells over the top men go fill your bayonet's with enemy blood my soldiers charge forward an entire wave the soldiers look scared and confused they get cut down without any hesitation it's over within 10 minutes the entire battle took around one hour and 20 minutes The enemy casualties 600,000 killed zero prisoners and zero wounded accounting for my casualties I only had three none of which were of any importance no officers died just numbers Hell even my officer has a number he doesn't have a name goes by his number 43 officer 43 of the first deathcore regiment I tell my officer but I want to give him a nickname he graciously except I say I shall call you raven i tell raven that we have a castle to see each and that I want the castle with minimal casualties and minimum damage to the town in the castle even though he's wearing a gas mask I can tell he's smiling he's in rounds up all the troops and tanks and guns and we head out I ride in the back with my jeep the mercenary's all left they were expecting a fight there was no glory to be one there was no Fame just death The only person that stuck around was Sophia she talks to me more I believe she's finally opened up we just strike random conversations as we march towards the enemy castle within two days we are able to see the castle The gate down like there's nobody home I tell raven to charge in there he replies you know that could be a trap reply I am aware but what is the likelihood that they are not ready for us in these numbers he replies "you are right I will tell the men to fix bayonets and set off to the City I men and me March towards the gate bayonets fixed pistols drawn the guards at the gate start to draw their weapons before they're even able to fully draw their weapons they're cut down were able to get the full 140 thousand men across The gate we march up to the castle with no resistance we barge into the castle and inside there's roughly 100 men waiting for us including the king and queen i yell "no survivors and no prisoners" all my men yell "yes sir!" My man charge forwards with their band that's at the ready, everybody's mixed in hand to hand combat. I see more guards falling than that of my soldiers. My soldiers charge the guards with their bayonets and shovels the little battle if I can say that it was more like a skirmish The king and queen lying on the floor the king please for mercy and ask raven for his sword he hands it to me I'll grab it I walk over to the King i say I will let your wife live because you And her were able to survive my soldiers if you couldn't tell my soldiers are not you're normal soldiers they don't use magic they use science and brute strength but somebody has to die can you or your wife he begs for his life so you want to be spared you want your wife to die he agrees and says yes please reply if you can't even bring yourself to put down your life for your wife you have no right to be king in the first place I stand swing the sword crossed his neck he freezes and then his head falls to the ground tell his wife that she can still stay here in the castle if she wishes that I do show mercy.

out of the hundred men that charged into the castle with me only 20 survived but then again we were outnumbered. I rewarded them. they all became my royal guards, my death squad if you will. they all get golden Skulls on their gas mask and special privileges like Authority over their fellow soldiers and are able to have a family as for the rest that didn't make it there gear was stripped and put into the Royal treasury and their bodies are buried I gave them a good true military funeral with a 45 gun salute. In the pasting weeks The king of heartland has demanded that I speak with him. Please, nobody demands to speak with me. I demand to speak with them. It is true maybe my new position has given me some arrogance but then again the only person That can oppose me right now is God himself.
