Chapter Twenty-Five:

Sweat poured from my forehead as I jabbed at the punching bag again. I couldn't sleep so I had decided to change into a black sports bra with a pair of matching black sweats. They were alittle on the baggy side but I wasn't complaining. I didn't like when my legs felt restricted. I blow the lose hair away from my face and continued.

I was frustrated and angry and sad. Hitting something helped with it. I'd rather hit someone so they could atleast hit me back. It would have been a better stress relief. But with me being The Luna I knew that these people wouldn't do anything to upset Astor right now and that included sparing with me.

'Mistress behind you.' I turn fart bring my leg up ready to kick whoever decided to sneak up on me. My eyes widen as a large hand catches my ankle mid air. Raph smirks down at me. It only made me want to hit him.

"Why so pint up princess?" I grind my teeth together and try to drop my ankle but Raph tightened his hand around my ankle making me wince a little under the pressure.

"Let go of me." My annoyance was clear in my tone toward him. He chuckles and yanks on my ankle dragging my other foot from under me dropping me on the floor. I groan as I glare up at him.

'Let's kill him.' The acid in Shade's voice surprised me. She really didn't like him. Not that I blamed her.

"Now wanna tell me why you are so frustrated? I can smell it from a mile away." I roll my eyes and jump to my feet.

My eyes caught his pendent again and It only made me angrier.

"Just leave. I don't have time for your pointless narrative." He steps up closer to me causing me to take a step back away from him.

"Then listen. You are not safe here. I don't care what Astor says. These people. These Lunatics need you more than they need his blood. Do you think that They don't know that the Spirit Flame didn't heal you?" My sotmache drops.

How in the world did he know about that? I know for a fact that Astor hadn't told anyone outside of Damien. And the twins wouldn't have said a word to anyone. They knew better.

"I have no idea what your talking about." Raph snorts and crosses his arms over his chest. An easy feeling settles over me. What was going on?

"You're a fool. Aradia told me what happened." My heart sank in that moment. He knew Aradia which meant he had Dragon's blood running through his veins. I gasp as Shade pushes forward and flames surround me. She felt threaten.

Raph didn't seem surprised though. He just stared at me .

"Look I have no interest in protecting you but I will not let that abomination be set free! So I will do whatever I have to do to make sure that doesn't happen." I try to rein Shade in but she is fighting me for some reason. What is wrong with her?! Why is she acting this way?!

"Go away Raph. I can't pull Shade back. She won't calm down." I watch half stunned as Raph's expression softens just a fraction before turning on his heels and walking away from me.

'I hate him!' I inhale a deep breath as the flames disappear and Shade retreats. She seemed to be more wound up than I was. But he had proven that I couldn't trust him. He was communicating with The Order.

I growl and turn back to the punching bag. Even more frustrated than before.

It had been another hour before my arms burned to the point I could barely lift them and I didn't feel any better. Was nothing going to help?! Maybe if I ran. It was dark outside now. But I should he fine right?

I make my way outside and to the garden. This should be a safe enough place to run. I take off in an even pace. I could feel myself start to zone out as I went. This was just getting more and more complicated.

I glance up and notice Arden and Damien standing up ahead staring at me in confusion. I skid to a stop and look between them. What the hell were they doing out here? Damien bows his head to me.

"Luna. Shouldn't you be resting?" Why would I be resting? Damien was looking down at my hands. I glance down to and notice that my knuckles were slightly torn open and red. I roll my eyes.

"You realize that I have put myself in worse condition when training? This is nothing." Damien frowns and shakes his head.

"Astor won't like that you hurt yourself." I arch an eyebrow at him. He acted like I had self harmed myself when all I was doing was venting my frustration.

"And I am a grown woman and will do as I please. Training is second nature to me." Damien's frown deepens but Arden snickers. I smile at him.

"Let me take you back to your room." I scoff.

"I don't think so pup. I'm out for a run and I'm not finished. I will return when I am done." Damien let's out a small growl. I'll admit maybe calling Astor's Beta a pup wasn't a good idea but I didn't Care. He wasn't my boss and neither was Astor.

"I believe you heard the princess Damien. I'll watch over her." I suppress a groan and turn to the sound of Raph's voice. He wore a smirk as he cast a side glance at me. I turn to Damien he looked as if he wanted to say something but didn't. I grabbed Arden by the ear and stomped away from us.

"Brave calling your Beta a pup. Damien has a temper bigger than yours." I sigh and turn my attention to Raph.

"Okay. You can leave now." Raph rolls his eyes and sits down on the bench.

"Oh I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here. You go for your run and when your done I'll take you back to your room."

I roll my eyes and start running again.

These people were really overprotective of The Luna. It was insane I could take care of myself! I push my legs to go faster.

I would not be a prisoner here. I'd have to talk to Astor about this because I am not one to sit idly by and do nothing. I couldn't stand having someone else babysitting me when I didn't need it.

White hot pain slices through my upper arm and then something slams into my whole body knocking me down. I struggle for air and force my eyes open. Raph laid ontop of me pants.

I hiss at the pain in my arm. I turn my head and I could see the blood there. Someone hit.me with something.

"Are you alright?" Concern crossed his features as he winces. I could feel my eyebrows draw together as I wiggle out from under neath him. My eyes widen at two arrows sticking out of his right shoulder. Flames instantly ignite around us in a circle. I glance around d frantically looking for signs of an archer.

I didn't see anyone. I reach for one of the arrow and hiss as my palm touches it instantly making me draw my hand away. Dragonsnap poison.

"Are.You.Okay?!" I look into Raph's eyes and they are glowing an amber color. I tilt my head at him curiously. Why?

"Yes. But you still carry Dragon's blood. This poison will effect you too. And the longer the arrows stay in the worse it will be. I can't touch them." Raph nods. He didn't deny my claim...So I was right. He was a descendent of Drago.

I help him stand up keeping the flames around around us as we make our way back into the castle. Astor would be angry. Someone had attacked not only me but his brother.
