Chapter Twenty-Seven: Freyas point of view

I sat up in the bed. My whole body ached. That amount of power I was use to. Which meant that I had to work on it so that I was use to it. I look around the room but Astor wasn't here..What happened after I passed out last night.

A light knock on the door makes me jump. Lily comes in holding a food tray piled high with pancakes, sausage, eggs, and cinnamon rolls. Good lord how was I suppose to eat that all by myself. Lily sets the food down on my lap and sits on the bed staring at me.

I give her a sheepish smile and look down at the food. She giggles a little.

"I may have brought you to much." I huff a small laugh and nod picking up the orange juice and taking a drink.

"Thank you for helping Raph. It means alot." I frown. I couldn't help it. It was obvious that Raph was younger than Astor. That would have meant that Her husband had cheated on her. I just don't understand it...why was she so okay with it?

"I would have done the same for anyone else." Lily smiles softly.

"Still. He is apart of this family." I nod and look down at the food again.

"How are you so okay with-" Lily sighs causing me to look up at her.

"After we had Astor...I couldn't have any more children. But my husband wanted another child. I couldn't deny that for him. It helped that we found someone who wouldn't interfere after Raph was born. I loved my husband. I would have done anything for him. So this request was nothing." She was a stronger woman than I was. I wouldn't be able to do that. I didn't have it in me to do it.

"You know who he is a descendent of?" Lily looks alittle confused for a moment then she nods.

"Yes. Drago. But you should know that Raph can't have children. No one could explain why but he just can't." My heart hurt for him in that moment was that why he was the way he is? Because he couldn't have children?

"Has there been any news about what is going on in my Kingdom?" Lily's face falls and she takes my hand.

"Oh Freya honey..I'm so sorry. But word came in this morning. It seems that your entire unit has been killed..Not just Selene." My blood ran cold. He killed them all? But why?! They were his subjects! I didn't understand what was going on?! Had he done this cause they were under my command? But I would have never hurt my brother and he knew that..didn't he?

My stomache turned and I felt the blood drain from my face. He's lost his mind! What was he thinking?! I clench my chest as pain blossoms there. Those women didn't deserve this! They had done nothing wrong! My eyes burned as I blink furiously trying to hold my years back.

I throw the blankets off and quickly leave the room. I couldn't cry infront of anyone. Not anymore.

I rush into my office locking the door. Before I could think I pick up a chair and fling it against the bookshelf letting out an ear piercing scream!

***RAPH'S POINT OF VIEW****

I groan as a sharp pain explodes in my chest. What? Freya. Before I could think I was sprinting off toward her room. What happened?! Astor said she was fine! I growl and push myself to go alittle faster. This stupid Blood Oath!

Lily was standing outside if her room. She looked concerned. She glances at me in surprise.

Sighing she points to the office room. I flinch at the sound of something repeating hitting something else.

Then I heard the sobs and screams underneath. She was hurt...I turn my attention back to Lily.

"What happened?!" Lily frowns and let's out a long sigh.

"We received word this morning that Niko murdered her entire unit...I didn't tell her anything else..But their bodies have been strung up infront of his castle. I snarl and walk up to the door.

"Why hasn't Astor made it hear yet?" Lily smirks.

"Because she closed off the bond. She's suppressing it." I nod. Of course she was. Astor would see it as her breaking down. Because she was a woman. But any man would act the same way if they lost a whole unit here. They'd be out for blood.

And knowing this girl. She was out for blood. I don't think that she cared that it was her brother or not right now.

"Freya it's Raph...will you open the door." I heard a whispered scoff. I couldn't help but smile. She really didn't like me all that much.

"Go jump in a field of dragon snaps." I'd let her have that one. Because I could still feel the pain she was in..and it was slowly being replaced with rage.

"After you." I lean against the wall next to the door and shove my hands in my pocket. Freya seemed to be closer to the door now because her sobs were alittle louder.

"I'm not good at this..but if you wanted to talk about it you can. I can't promise I'll say the right thing but I'll listen." Word vomit..I couldn't stop myself from saying it. I had tried but my stupid wolf was fighting me. If I could punch my wolf I swear I wouldn't even feel bad about it!

Freya had gone silent for a moment and then I heard a little movement from inside. But she was quiet for the longest time. A calm washed over me and for some reason it scared me more than her anger and her pain.

Why was she so calm all of sudden?! What was she thinking?! I growl in frustration. A light knock on the other side of the door draws my attention.

"Raph...tell Astor I'm sorry." My stomache knots as it becomes silent again and in a blur of panic I rip the door off the hinges and throw it behind me. The room was completely destroyed and Freya was gone.

"Bloody Hell!" Astor was going to go off the rails! Freya was being Reckless and may blget herself killed!

Turning around I take off in a dead run. I needed to Find Astor! Then I'd find Freya and drag her back kicking and screaming!
