Chapter Twenty-Nine: Third Person Point Of View.

Freya woke wincing and when she moved chains rattled around her. She forces her eyes open and she let's out a small gasp. She was in the dungeons. Chained to a wall. Her body was weak and the chains were enchanted so she couldn't get out.

'Shade? Can you hear me?' She pleaded silently to her dragon but Shade remained silent. Freya inhales a steady breath as heavy footsteps come closer. A growl escapes her lips when Niko and two guards appear at the entrance of her cell.

A sinister smile plays on his lips as t I e guards enter. Each one Taking turns slamming their fists into Freya. Niko's eyes shifted as he snarls. He wanted to hear Freya's screams! He wanted to hear her pain! He wanted her to suffer! She had betrayed him! She turned away from him to go with that Stupid Lycan King! She abandoned him! Freya looks up at her brother. But he wasn't there. What stood before her was nothing but a void..darkness. There was no saving him. He was oozing it. The bloodlust that filled the room was unbearable. It was almost suffocating.

Niko's lips curl back in an unhauman way as he snarls down at Freya.

"I have a gift for you sister." Freya narrows her eyes at him as the metallic taste fills her mouth. She spits the blood out toward him making him chuckle.

"You won't be so cocky once I'm done."

****FREYA'S POINT OF VIEW*****

I watching my brother and his guards leave. I pant out swallow breaths. It hurt to breath in to deep. Which meant that some of my ribs were broken. I spit blood out of my mouth again. I had bit my tongue to hard to keep from crying out when they were hitting me. I could feel Astor trying to push through to me but I had to keep the block up. He'd come running blinded by his anger and he wouldn't be thinking straight. I couldn't risk him getting hurt because I was stupid and come in this alone.

I should have brought the twins. I could have called them back..but they would be in harms way as well. I couldn't risk them. I didn't want anyone else getting killed. I groan as I try to shift into a different position to ease the pain in my ribs. But white hot pain flashes over my body and black dots dance across my vision.

Footsteps draw my attention. Niko had returned with the guards. He wore a wicked grin and it made my skin crawl.

"The followers of Falak want you alive..But they didn't say that I couldn't break you." My jaw sets and my anger builds slowly.

"You Traitor! You killed your own people! And now you'd side with them?! To let that MONSTER free?!" My voice was hoarse but he was going to hear me! Niko smirks and steps forward but not before the guards rush me slamming me into wall. I wince and glare at Niko. He was a monster. This wasn't the sweet boy that I had grown up with.

Horror consumes me as Niko pulls out a needle that holds a black liquid. I struggle against the guards hold causing pain in my ribs.

"What is that?!" Niko chuckles causing my skin to crawl.

"This is black magic in its finest." I could feel Shade stir inside me but she was still to weak.

"Don't!" My voice rang through the dungeons. I cry out as Niko shoves the needle into my neck. I scream as the liquid enters my body. My body spasmed in the guards hold and they drop me quickly. My insides were on fire. It was like some one had shoved a white hot branding iron through me. My head pounded. It felt like it was going to explode. My muscles felt like they were being ripped apart one by one. I let out a scream then. Tears stung my eyes and it felt like someone was breaking my bones.

I gag as the pain over comes me. I clench my stomach. I pant trying to catch my breath. The sensation of being stabbed over and over again didn't go away. It just traveled over my chest, down to my ribs and settled into my stomache/uterus.

Realization over comes me and everything inside of me cried out. NO!!! No just no!! This wasn't happening!! I didn't know!

I heaved and screamed again! All the pain that consumed my body slowly traveled down and settled in my lower body as well.

Shade Roars as I let out an agonizing scream! He had yet again taken another life!

*****ASTOR'S point Of View****

Aro was barely holding it together since Raph told us that Freya was gone! I was on edge and bitting everyone's heads off.

Raph looked as if he was in physical pain but I hadn't touched him. I tried reaching Freya's mind but she had me blocked and it had me on edge.

I had to quickly send Rose and Luca away because she had acted recklessly and went alone. So I had no idea what was going on.

I sent out search parties to look for her hoping she hadn't returned to Niko. My heart was hammering on the inside of my chest. And my hands shook. Revealing how little control I had. Aro was fighting me. Trying his damnest to push through. He wanted out. He was out for blood.

Mom was pacing the room. When Raph's sudden cry in pain alerts us both. Mom rushed to his side. He looks up at me and back to mom. Confusion settles over me.

"Tell Him Raph." Tell me what?! Raph growls and grabs his head.

"Tell me what?! What's wrong?!" Mom sighs.

"Your brother can feel Freya's pain..and it seems that she is in alot of it." I snarl. I rush Raph and grab his throat. Only mates could feelcea h others emotions! What did he do?! I let out a low growl but Raph was unphased.

"Son. It isn't what you think. A blood Oath was made between their mothers when they were pregnant. Blood oaths like this are made so a dragon-borne has a protector incase they choose not to have a mate." My Mother's words seemed to calm Aro but I was still angry. Raph knew about this but kept it from me! Why?!

I release Raph but stay infront of him.

"How bad is she hurt?" Raph looks up into my eyes. The pain that radiated through me let me know just how bad it was.

"Let me go and get her."

"I'll go with you." Raph shakes his head and looks at mom.

"If you go it puts you at risk too. I can't protect you both." I snarl. I didn't need his protection! I needed My Mate!

"Astor he's right. We need you here incase there is an attack. He will bring her home safe." I growl again and Aro seems to relax alittle. So he was trusting Raph with our mate?!

I inhale a deep breath and move to the side allowing Raph to pass. He glances at me and nods.

"I'll bring her home."
