Introducing, He's Elbara

The sound of motorcycle exhausts filled the parking area which immediately caught the attention of many students at Adalard High School as if that was what the school residents had been waiting for on this very sunny morning.

Many girls squealed in amazement at who had come this morning, as their excitement in the morning never sounded boring at all.

"ELBARA! MAINTAIN YOUR GRADE OF LOOKING THAT NEVER FADE, I WANT TO DIE WITH YOU AND YOU SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE!" shouted one of the students who were very hysterical.

His name is Elbara Geofano Adalard, just call him El because it sounds simpler. A guy who likes to show off his favorite Kawasaki ninja motorbike, which is certainly very charming like his handsome owner.

Let's say he is in control of this school because he is the favorite grandson of the owner of Adalard High School. A figure who seems cold and indifferent to his surroundings is a plus for his current good looks and can captivate the hearts of many of the opposite sex. The colder he is, the more girls approach him. He said the cold one was more challenging to have.

El ignored the screams of the girl who had shouted at him earlier as if he had no shame. He only focused on removing the helmet from his head and placing it in the rearview mirror. There wasn't the morning smile that many had expected for him, only a cold and flat gaze emanating from his body.

He slung his bag over one shoulder, then began walking past the line of unrelated students standing in line at the edge of the school parking lot just to watch him arrive. Even though he was just an ordinary guy, there was nothing cool about him.

"My brother, Bara, hello!"

El's steps stopped when he heard a shrill voice that he only allowed calling his name 'Bara' instead of 'El' as usual, the girl with a pink ribbon on her head was now seen running excitedly towards him until finally deciding to stand properly in front of him.

"You left your lunch at home, and now I'm bringing it for you. I thought you had arrived earlier this morning, but it turned out to be the same as the previous days, you always came 10 minutes before the bell rang. Bara, where did you go before you got to school?" said the girl with one breath while thrusting the lunch box in front of El with annoyed eyes, just imagine that in the morning she was running around so sweaty.

El took the lunch box, then put it in his bag without saying or answering the slightest question for the girl in front of him. Too talkative, yes, that's what he thought.

Many pairs of eyes were watching them with extremely envious eyes. Who wouldn't want to be in the position of Alvira Fatyana Adalard, who is Elbara's younger sister? a chatty and whimsical girl is his trademark, a stark contrast to El's character. The only girl who could meet El every day and be free to act like anything with that guy. It's envious of the girls who are now staring jealously and witnessing their closeness.

"Bara, answer my question... when you ignore me, I feel like dry laundry," said Alvira annoyed, she shook El's hand firmly.

Again, El didn't answer.

"Then I'll cry and go on a hunger strike from this second on if you don't want to reply to what I said!" Alvira said while showing her sad face, of course, it was made up because she knew her brother's weakness was in her --in the sense that El didn't want Alvira to cry--. She just wanted to know El's morning routine that made the boy always come late to school, that's all.

"I'm going to class first," El replied while kissing the top of Alvira's head affectionately --still reluctant to answer Alvira's previous question--. After that he left his sister who was now bending a smile, ignoring the muffled screams of many girls who witnessed the incident because they wanted to also feel El's kiss on the top of their heads.

El didn't mean to make them jealous, he was just acting like a normal big brother. Yes, but he also doesn't care about it all, the important thing is to act as is without making it up.

He stepped into the class marked 12 Social Sciences Major 2 and was immediately treated to the behavior of his friends who were crazy.

"IF YOU ALLOW, I WANT TO MARRY A PRINCESS FROM NOW," said Mario very loudly, deepening the role of an ordinary man without wealth.

I don't know what they were doing but managed to attract the attention of several passersby and stopped in front of their class just to peek and listen to what was going on.

"Are you stupid? Where's a princess named Sari? That doesn't sound right, change the name!" This time, Reza acted like a disgruntled director with a cast that was too inappropriate to name one of the actors.

El just looked at them with an unconcerned look. Always, whenever there is no teacher supervision, his friends will immediately launch an impromptu theater event, he said to practice when the graduation ceremony has arrived. But come on, the morning that should have been filled with birdsong was ruined by their disorganized sound.

He sat on a bench that no one else was allowed to sit on, including his friends. Once, Mario curiously excused himself with the decoration 'Miss Victor told me to move to the seat next to you, so I switched seats.' But his attempt failed and ended with El getting angry and looking at him very sharply. Ah, he was sure Mario had given up by then and stopped to try and sit next to him.

El took earphones from his pants pocket and immediately chose a song at random, then stuffed his ear with it. He folded his arms on the table and buried his head there.

Entering that dreamland is the most pleasant thing in the world, especially while listening to the strains of a song that fills the senses of hearing. Right now, he just needed to sleep.

A few minutes later ...

"ELBARAAA!!"

"Ouch, it hurts." El immediately opened his eyes when he felt someone's ear being pulled. He knew who it was, he immediately took off the earphones that were hanging from his ears and put them in the desk drawer.

"How can you instead of doing tadarus activities, but you sleep soundly in class, what a good thing you did..."

El turned his gaze to the students who were miraculously sitting neatly in their chairs, as well as Mario and Reza. "Sorry, Miss Victor," he said with a gaze that was still flat, even though according to eyewitnesses throughout the school, this teacher's ear tugging was very painful. But for El, this feels normal.

"Sorry, sorry! Quickly open your Al-Qur'an," said Mrs. Victor while releasing her hand on El's ear. She didn't care at all if she received a rebuke from Madam Adalard for daring to tug at the ear of her beloved granddaughter. For her, enforcement of the rules still applies to every student and regardless of their background.

El sitting back, his seat at the back in the corner of the room, alone, is the most enjoyable thing he's been in school here.

"Lucky your ear didn't fall out of place, El," said Mario who had now turned his body towards El. He smiled a little because now his brain was playing with this cold man's flat expression when he was teased by Mrs. Victor, so flat that he wanted to invite laughter.

El rolled his eyes, then opened the page of the Al-Qur'an spoken by the ustadz at this school through the speaker. "You talk too much," he muttered expressionlessly.

"Oh my, El, I'm just about to start the Al-Qur'an. But you've spoken harshly, damn istighfar," said Reza who also faced El while stroking his chest and shaking his head.

"You better repent, you talk dirty too."

"MARIO, REZA, ELBARA! READ YOUR QURAN CORRECTLY, DON'T HURRY LIKE THAT!!" said Mrs. Victor in a loud voice. She stared intently at the three boys in the back row, indeed they were the most unruly gang.

"The head mother grumbled," said Mario with a chuckle.

"You are indeed angry, later it can trigger aging. Eh but that's okay!"

El just stared blankly at his two friends who had now changed the direction of their seats as before. He then lowered his head and began to recite each verse so earnestly, he didn't even notice that the class was now focused on him until the tadarus activity was over.

"Omg! My baby honey sweety can always make me melt, gosh, I think I'm going to pass out, water help!!!"

El turned to one of the girls who was now wagging her face with her hands while being helped by her two friends to drink mineral water, she was the only girl who was the most excited when consumed by her charm.

The whole school also knew who the girl was. Her name is Priska Andini. A passionate girl who wants to have El completely, she doesn't even care if the guy always dumps her in public. It's a shame, but she's already in love. Anyone who dared to approach El openly would raise a war flag at her.

"Priska is like a grandmother, just in case, she's just too much. What kind of nickname is she using for El? Sounds disgusting."

El looked at Reza who was now shuddering at Priska.

"Sorry, just for you guys," El said while returning to his activities. Putting the Qur'an back in the drawer of his desk, then took out his textbook and pencil case which were always neatly arranged by Alvira, a very understanding little sister. He's not the lazy type of guy and likes to skip class. He is cold, indifferent, even likes to come late --yes, although not late but it's the same-- but the most important thing for him is the number one subject in school.

"God forbid I have a girl like her," Reza said while tapping his fist against the forehead and the table in turn.

Mario chuckled, then gave some interesting suggestions. "Here, I'm thinking, Priska fits Reza. I support it if it's true. Isn't that right, El?"

"Hmm."
