Goodbye, Evidence!

A few minutes before…

"Quickly open the door, while the CCTV is not active," said Disty, who ordered Nika to immediately open the door to the room which was only allowed to be entered by the employee on duty at this school.

Nika chuckled, then rolled her eyes. "Wait a minute, it will take a few attempts to open it." She answered panicked because she heard a panicked voice from Disty's voice, indeed the girl who can convey feelings the most.

The door was already open, and a large screen immediately appeared showing all corners of the school where CCTV was installed —except this corridor because it might be damaged or a short circuit, luck for them—.

"Come on in, we have to hurry," said Priska who entered first.

Even though it was Nika who opened the door, this girl entered the last room.

"You guard the door, Ka. Why are you coming in with us?" said Priska as she gently pushed Nika's body to keep it where it was before, in front of the door. "You, Disty, help me find the CCTV footage from yesterday." She continued again, this time talking to Disty.

Nika who heard it sighed softly. "But Ka, I also want-"

She wanted to protest, but Nika's words were immediately cut off by Priska. "No buts, do as I say, or we will fail because of you." She said in an emphatic voice, confirming to one of her friends that she didn't mind every single command she said.

"Yes, yes..." answered Nika languidly while holding the straps of her bag in each hand. After that, she returned to her footing at the door and served as a guard dog so she could see if anyone was approaching.

While there, Disty and Priska immediately worked without a mouth. Actually what Priska did with Nika that told the girl to stay outside, yes because this is the reason. She didn't want her work to be hampered because of Nika who kept on talking non-stop, which would waste their time.

"Don't you regret what we did to Nusa? If we hadn't locked him in the swimming room locker yesterday, we definitely wouldn't have done such a troublesome thing," said Disty, letting go of the feelings that had been created since she came home that same day when she locked Nusa with her two friends.

While searching, they also release what is felt. If Nika was on duty, of course, they would chat more often, or sit around like they were chatting casually.

Priska shook her head, there was never the word sorry in her life dictionary. "Regrets? No, nothing. Well, when I don't regret bullying someone because I went too far, you must feel that I'm crazy like this, right?" She said looking through the files from the computer screen.

Meanwhile, Disty's job is to find recordings stored on DVD or hard copy. "Yeah, I feel that way too, as a friend, I'm sorry if I say something like this." She said feeling bad. "But aren't you tired of chasing after what's not yours? El never acknowledged you, but you were so ambitious about it. Honestly, I've always been supportive, always helpful. But then I realized El told us Nusa has become his queen." She continued.

Priska raised an eyebrow, still looking for the gap where the recording from yesterday when she took Nusa to the school swimming room was until she locked the girl there.

"I'm never tired. I realize that El was never my destiny, but I can never get rid of that feeling. I'm blind, I've put a sentence that El should be for me and not for other people, especially Nusa."

Disty didn't answer. She knows that Priska is not as tough a girl as she seems, but Priska is just an ordinary girl who falls in love but doesn't get anything in return.

"You guys hurry up, talk a lot. It's my turn to put my share here,"

Suddenly, Nika's voice rebuked them, this girl is always restless when not spoken to.

Hearing that, Disty immediately found a CD that read yesterday's date, and the CCTV section was recorded there. She smiled widely, then raised her hands high in the air. "Yes, I found it! Every corner of the CCTV that recorded us yesterday, I managed to find it." She exclaimed. Even though she was exclaiming, she held back her excitement. She quickly secured a copy of the CCTV CD and put it in her bag so she wouldn't leave it or forget to pick it up.

"Yeah, hurry up, I have a hunch. I think someone wants to come here," Nika said worriedly as she kept looking for a road that could bring people here. Because the road behind it is a dead-end, aka the CCTV room is located in the corner.

"Yes, wait, the files on the computer were intentionally drowned. I have to periodically check the date change," said Priska. Her eyes swiftly darted here and there to see and check what was presented on the computer screen there.

"It's very difficult to get into Adalard's security system. Yes, not too difficult, but complicated."

"Yeah right, they are a big family name in the eyes of the public. How can Adalard create a school with such weak security? Impossible."

"Well then hurry up what you are doing, I'm afraid what Nika said is true. Later if we are caught, we will not only be accused of stealing CCTV footage, but surely they will immediately know that we are the culprits."

Priska snorted, cold sweat already covering her temples. She looks at every detail, and if she doesn't focus on looking, then she goes back to the next file.

"You guys are noisy, just keep my mouth shut," he said, feeling nervous as he said that.

A few seconds later…

"Damn, I found it! Finally..."

Quickly, Priska immediately deleted the file from the computer storage. She flashed a lopsided smile, feeling triumphant. "Goodbye, evidence." She said happily. Pleased, she managed to eliminate the evidence that could entangle the three of them from further trouble.

They all laughed, even Nika who was assigned to guard the door went straight in to have fun with each other.

After that, they packed up and returned all the equipment as before so that no one suspected.

"Let's get out before someone else comes," said Priska while leaving the room first. "Don't forget to close the door."

"Okay."

The three of them immediately ran away from the CCTV room with cheering hearts, their mission went smoothly on the advice of a previously untrustworthy Nika.

But without them realizing it, it turns out that Nika forgot to lock the door which made the CCTV door only closed without being locked like when they first came.
