Placing Prejudice

The arrival of El and his two friends back to her house made Nusa look at them with a questioning look. The reason is, that their faces become sluggish as if they have lost their enthusiasm, I don't know what happened to them. Ah yes, except for El's expression which still looks flat as usual.

"What happened? Is there a problem? You guys look sour," she said. She brought a tray containing 4 glasses of juice drinks, including herself. Why not 5 glasses, even though there is Rehan in this house? Yes, because the guy wasn't in the living room, she chose to take a nap in the room.

Putting glass in front of each of them, then lastly for her and she put her ass on the sofa, not forgetting to put the tray she was using on the table.

Mario and Reza simultaneously turned to Nusa with pursed lips, but the most dramatic was Mario who was now acting as sad as possible.

"Sorry, we failed, Sa," said Mario in a languid tone, after all, Nusa must have felt the failure of those who could not secure the evidence. I don't know where the evidence is, but what is certain is that it is still in the hands of others and has not been damaged.

Reza nodded, feeling guilty like Mario. "That's right, we failed to find any evidence. We did everything we could," he said solemnly.

Nusa blinked three times, then raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? What are you guys doing? I don't know anything but suddenly you guys apologized." She answered because she was confused by the words of the two boys.

Undeniably, Nusa glanced at El who was busy with his cellphone. She hoped El would answer her question, but the man didn't seem to move at all.

Reza noticed Nusa's gaze on El, he immediately got up from his seat and took off his school uniform, and threw it into his bag on the sofa. "Oops, looks like I'm hungry, may I go to the kitchen to eat? Do you have any ingredients to cook?" he said, reaching for his glass of juice. He is very sensitive, therefore he wants to leave Nusa with El so that they are alone and their conversation is more private.

Nusa nodded her head. "There's a lot of groceries, it's up to you what you want to do." She answered in a gentle tone typical of Nusa.

Hearing the food, without needing to be coded again, Mario did the same thing with Reza. "Wow, yes, Sa, after we became detectives at school, it turned out that our stomachs felt hungry. You were kind," he said while standing side by side with Reza while patting his stomach he sounded hungry.

El was just silent, wanting to go with his two friends so he wouldn't be trapped in a situation alone with Nusa. But what can I do, he looked into the eyes of the girl who seemed to want to talk to him directly. So, he put off his intention to go to the kitchen.

"Yeah, yeah, wait a minute, I'll make you two some food, lunch," Reza said.

"Reza, you can cook? Really?" asked Mario who was doubtful about the words of the man next to him.

Reza nodded, then grabbed Mario's hand to quickly leave the living room and followed him into the kitchen.

While looking at the figures of Reza and Mario whose backs were getting smaller and then disappeared behind the corner of her house, Nusa looked at El with an awkward feeling. "Bara," she called, squeezing the hem of the oversized shirt clinging to her body.

Hearing that, El understood that Nusa needed to talk to him. And fortunately, Reza is very sensitive, he can't speak freely if other people hear him, he is very grateful to his two friends.

"Why?"

"Just calling your name,"

Nusa put a strand of her hair behind her ear, then looked away because El was staring at her too intensely, she became very nervous because of the man's gaze at her.

El who heard Nusa's answer finally sighed, I don't know what the girl was thinking until she didn't speak seriously. "Oh okay," he said as if he didn't care, leaning on the head of the sofa, after that he didn't care anymore. Curious of course, but he wasn't the type to show his expression openly.

"Bara, why can't you be sensitive like Reza? You're a guy who is too cold." Nusa said with a frown, she looked back at El in an upright sitting position. "I want to ask, what happened? I asked like that, but no answer." She continued.

El looked at Nusa and locked his eyes with those very beautiful eyeballs. "What do you expect from me?" he asked in an even tone.

Hearing an answer like that made Nusa hold her breath for a few seconds, she could checkmate herself if she talked to a man like El. "Y-yes... just answer with your version. If you hear something, Reza and Mario's versions have often been heard, but you rarely explain things." She said with a squeak for fear of saying the wrong thing.

"I have no explanation."

"Lies, there must be. You are an important person at school,"

"What is the relation?"

"I don't know, just talking about what's on my mind."

Nusa snorted while scratching the back of her neck that didn't itch, feeling weird about her answering like that.

El snorted, then adjusted his seat. "I, Reza, Mario, lost evidence from the perpetrators," he said, starting to answer questions from the girl across from him.

"Proof?" asked Nusa, repeating El's words that made her curious.

"Yes, CCTV footage."

"Ah.. can't you access everything? I mean, you can enter the forbidden room, right? But how can you lose evidence? Isn't it that no one is free to go in and out of there? maybe even the only officer who has access, and from the student side, only you and Alvira can access. Employees also can't give keys to just anyone, right?"

"Yes."

Nusa racked her brain, there was something she wanted to talk about her suspicions because Rehan was being interrogated. "I have someone I suspect, Bara." She said in a low voice.

El looked at Nusa. "So am I," he replied.

They stared into each other's eyes, long enough for both of them to realize that staring for more than a minute made them each hypnotize the other.

"Who?" asked Nusa, unable to hide her curiosity. Because, is it true that El is suspicious of something? Impossible.

"Say it together," said El.

Nusa nodded her head. "Okay, I'll count huh? Count three, say it together," she says.

El nodded in agreement.

"One... two... three... Priska."

"Prisca."

After that, they looked at each other. Turns out, they put prejudice against the same person.
