7. The village of Yui (1)
Author's note: Motherclucker i forgot i changed what was going to happen faaaaa-!
Also i changed the village name from Hua to Yui because of obvious reasons
Also also i just realized how much of a garbage fire my last chapter is, sorry for that one
Ps: I was planning on making this chapter the chapter that they leave the village but found it dumb to not use the village for plot material sorry for the inconvenience

Laughing could be heard in the village of Hua as village children could be seen playing in the village
In a nearby mound a few minutes walk away from the village, Xiu Ying could be seen resting against a tree with Hua sleeping on her lap. The two of them seems to be at peace as Hui can be seen looking at them from a distance
Despite looking the same as when Xiu Ying met him, a insane look can be seen in his eyes as he look at Xiu Ying and Hua resting in the tree while he hides behind a large rock
The bird also known as Birdie just sighs at this as Birdie plays back the events in this quiet little village
[(Flash back)]
The trio Xiu Ying, Hua, and Hui can be seen walking towards the village while a small group of the village inhabitants flock to see who the approaching figures are
In the front of the group a old man can be seen
Gasps could be heard in the group after Xiu Ying reached a close enough distance to see her features
This of course go unnoticed to Xiu Ying as she's too busy talking with Hua
"Ehem travelers what may be the purpose of your visit in our humble little village" The old villager said as Xiu Ying, Hua, and Hui reached the group
"U-um, well you see elder" Hui said while giving a bow a pained expression can be seen on his face as he recalled the memories
The elder thinking about something signalled Hui to stop talking
"I have a guess from who these travelers are. May we continue inside, while drinking tea?" The elder said
"Y-yes please" Hui said before following the elder with Xiu Ying and Hua close behind
Whispers and gossips could be heard from the group as the elder left with the travelers
The trio continued to follow the elder until they reached a decent old looking house and the old man opened the gate, letting the trio enter before closing it and guiding them to the living room in his house
"Please take a seat" The elder said while beckoning them to take a seat
As the elder left the room and Xiu Ying took her seat the bird also known as Birdie appeared near a window and perched itself there while looking at them
[]What that guy just said triggered some old memories of mine[]
'Memories?'
[]What? Your telling me that what he said doesn't remind you of anything?[]
'I mean no not really, is it important?'
[]No but it really does make me question on how you have no knowledge of something so popular in your world[]
The elder came back as he took a seat in one of the chairs
"Ehem, so i would guess that you three are part of the trading caravan that's supposed to arrive today" The elder said as a young woman appeared with a tray containing tea related things
'So-so beautiful' Xiu Ying thought as she looked at the beautiful woman with black hair and green eyes
The young woman blushed as she looked at Xiu Ying
"W-well we were"
"Were?"
"The caravan was attacked by a pack of silver back wolves, from what i know me and my sister are the only survivors"
"And this beautiful young lady?"
Xiu Ying awoke from her daydream as she realized she was being asked
"Um my name is Li Xiu Ying a traveler"
"A traveler?"
"Yes, though i kind of got lost" Xiu Ying said with a apologetic smile making everyone in the room blush except Hua who just thought Xiu Ying is beautiful and Gan
"E-ehem and my name is Shi Hui and-"
"My name is Shi Hua!" Hua cutted in with a smile on her face
"Mm a energetic one isn't she? Well i guess it'll be rude not to introduce ourselves. My name is Zhiwu Gan the village elder and leader of this humble little village we call Yui, and this is my daughter Zhiwu Huaban" Huaban gave a small bow as she got introduced
"Though that truly is an unfortunate sets of events, unfortunately trading caravans only visit us every three months" This caused worry to grow into the trio
"Wait where are we going to get the money to afford an inn? Or to catch a ride?"
"Mhm well the harvesting season is just about to begin and i'm sure the village wouldn't mind paying for a couple of hands" Gan said as he drunk from his cup of tea
"Well, i guess we don't really have much of a choice. Thank you for the help elder Gan"
"Haha no need, no need"
They engaged in a few small talks as the trio asked things about the village and it's surroundings
"Hmm it seems like it's about to turn dark, my daughter Huaban shall escort you three to the village inn" Gan said as he walked out of the living room
Huaban quickly collected the tea cups and walked out of the living room before motioning the trio to follow her
A few minutes into the walk Huaban still haven't talked so as an act of trying to get closer Xiu Ying decided to compliment her
"Uhh hello Huaban is it, i would just like to say that you really look beautiful"
For some reason Huaban's face just turned red and no sounds came from her which confused Xiu Ying
Huaban recollected herself and pointed at her mouth before making an x with her arms
"O-oh sorry"
Huaban just gave her a smile before continuing to lead them
