They stood directly across from him, visible through a high-powered telescope, no doubt.

In Zephyria Central, beside the floor-to-ceiling windows of Tiana's study, there sat a rather high-powered, high-definition telescope. During the few nights he had stayed there, he had attempted to use it for observation.

Of course, Tiana used that instrument primarily to gaze at the sky.
