Breakfast

CHAPTER 86

"Young master, good morning," a woman in her late forties greeted him as soon as he stepped out of his room with her head slightly lowered.

"Morning. Where is she?" He asked but no sooner had he done that, he sniffed something and his eyes widened.

"Did you prepare breakfast already, Miss Helen? Did you know I was going to wake up now?" He inquired and before he got an answer, he made his way from where she was and began heading down the stairs.

She was tempted to tell him the truth but kicked against it.

She had two reasons though. The first was the fact that the young master did not like so many people in his house so she was the one doing the cooking and they had a butler and a gardener as well.

On the other hand, he would be mad that they made his wife do housework while they were around and worse the morning after their wedding night.
