When They Least Expect It

Aaron put a hand over my shoulder, while reaching for his handkerchief in the other.

"I'm sorry..." He said mockingly, trying to mimic my voice back then.

"It was for the good of everybody." I said, then looked up to the stair case.

"I found your paper," She said, holding it up. "I am so bored around here, you know."

I laughed as she started to descend, and I went halfway to meet her.

"Am I really like a flower petal?" She hooked her arms around me, as my hands cupped her waist. Her waist was not the superficial small, but the nice small. And I sometimes felt like just running my hands on it as she laid on her side across from me to feel how it dipped.

Aaron annoyingly cleared his throat. "I am tired of being single."

"Then go date Naomi."

Aaron shrieked in horror, causing us both to laugh. "How heartless can you get?"

"Go away, will you?"

He rolled his eyes and walked away. "Fine. Fine. Do what you want."
