Chapter 8 : Cold feelings

Zhiwei is in the pavilion while reading some message.

"Zhiwei, i got another evidence from general Ren's illegal doing." The message she got but dare not to read it a loud, when a servant come she immediately hide the message.

"You highness, The Song family came to visit you."

Zhiwei was so happy to hear that, she didn't ask why and she immediately go to see her family. But she suddenly change expression when she saw them with cold expressions, all of them bow to her and greet her, "Greeting to her highness!"

"Father, mother. Please rise, also you brother." Zhiwei said with a gentle voice.

They rise and can't even look at her straight, "Why did you all visit?" Zhiwei asked, "We visit because I'm just having a bad feeling that you made another mess again." Song da said with a cold expression.

Zhiwei was kinda surprised to hear that, but change it all by chuckling, "So, you really thought that i would betray the emperor. What are you? Why don't you give your trust to me father?" Zhiwei asked.

"You betray me once, not even me. But me, your mother and even your brother."

"I have to do that-."

"Why? To protect your own crime.. You know you're lucky because we don't have much evidence to caught you, but I'll make sure to find one."

"Why are you so cold to me?!"

Fu chi and Zhiwen stay silent.

"Because we all know that you like troubling me since in the past, if i wasn't being pity about you, i could have made you as a beggar or worst, torture you." Song Da said.

Zhiwei stop and turn around, "If that's what you wanted to say, then you can leave now." Zhiwei said.

"How dare you?!" Song da seems angry, but just leave her alone, Fu chi and Zhiwen also leave with Song Da.

Zhiwei cry after they all left, the servants didn't even get close to her and comfort her.

"That's a traitor can get." Murmur from the servants.
