Top professional gladiator, “Spear Demon” Xu Jingming, retires at the prime age of 26 with a body ridden with injuries. 

One day, the United Nations announces that mankind would be ushering in a new era for human evolution. Advanced technology had been found on Mars, a secret kept to this day. Research had been carried out to use science to augment human evolution.

All of mankind can now evolve themselves by partaking in this VR experience using the freely distributed VR headset.

The island was very quiet. Xu Jingming's residence was located in the southeast corner of the island, covering more than a thousand acres.

"Master, you can check your personal interface using your privileges at the Primordial Research Institute," the robot butler said respectfully. "In your personal interface, there's a sub-panel, 'Primordial Research Institute.'"

"Thank you, 1027," Xu Jingming said with a smile.

"It's my honor to serve you, Master," the robot butler replied. "Master, do you want something to drink?"

"Just prepare some snacks and drinks," Xu Jingming instructed before sitting down in the courtyard. He then opened his personal interface and began checking.

As for the robot butler, he prepared some snacks and drinks and stood silently in a corner, awaiting Xu Jingming's orders.
