Top professional gladiator, “Spear Demon” Xu Jingming, retires at the prime age of 26 with a body ridden with injuries. 

One day, the United Nations announces that mankind would be ushering in a new era for human evolution. Advanced technology had been found on Mars, a secret kept to this day. Research had been carried out to use science to augment human evolution.

All of mankind can now evolve themselves by partaking in this VR experience using the freely distributed VR headset.

Xu Jingming's eyes were filled with longing.

"I've done what Miss instructed me." Uncle Qi smiled at Xu Jingming. "Also, Young Master, you don't have to worry. I haven't done anything evil over the years. I'm not the kind of demon you hate."

"I'm not troubled. Also, I trust you," Xu Jingming stated.

"Alright, I've already said what needs to be said. I'm relieved," Uncle Qi said. "There's one last thing I would like to advise you on."

"In the past decade or so, you've traveled all over the world and cared about the common people. But Young Master, you should care more about yourself," Uncle Qi said. "Humans only live this long. It's better to do something you like and are happy with."
