One day, the United Nations announces that mankind would be ushering in a new era for human evolution. Advanced technology had been found on Mars, a secret kept to this day. Research had been carried out to use science to augment human evolution.

Cipolla was stunned. "Give up? Teacher, can I ask why?"

"Developing Earth's civilization only involves trillions of cosmic dollars in wealth," Merilun said, "but if we continue developing it, it will attract Lunardo's hostility."

"Prince Lunardo?" Cipolla knew about Lunardo's sightseeing trip to Earth.

"Does our Black Moon civilization need to care about Lunardo?" Cipolla whispered.

"Not now, but… it's hard to say in the future," Merilun answered. "Many nobles within the Primestar civilization are investing in Lunardo and the others. His brother is indeed a very impressive figure."

"Most importantly, Lunardo is a petty person," Merilun said with a smile.
