[Let's get to the story now( ◜‿◝ )♡]

"That's why dad told me he killed mom? But I think it wasn't his fault." Hearing all of the story, Soobin said.

"Yeah! And he's still living with the guilt that he killed his most beloved person," said the guy who was telling the story to Soobin.

"I got it. But that doesn't mean all he did was right. Maybe he was trying to do the right thing but his method was wrong." Soobin said as if he was a philosopher. Beomgyu took their empty bowls away and poured water for them. He gave one glass to Soobin and another to the guard. Both of them finished the water silently. Beomgyu tried to lighten up the mood but the circumstance was too heavy to lighten up.

"Do you know what's his biggest mistake?" Soobin asked the guy. Beomgyu went to put the glasses in their place and hearing Soobin, he came back to him and sat down in front of him. Looking at his eyes curiously.

"Hm?" The guy answered.

"That he always thinks he's right. But he's a human too. He can't always be right. And that's why I don't like him. I don't hate him either. But as a father, I'm afraid I can't love him as much as other children love their father. Maybe he was trying to save us but did he ever ask what I wanted? Never! Moreover, he's a part of the underground world. No matter what he does, it'll always be a part of him." Soobin sighed.

"Are you feeling okay? Should I grab something for you?" Beomgyu asked as he wanted to divert the situation elsewhere.

"Um. Much better. I never imagined I'd be unconscious for this long. So, I'm just feeling a little dizzy yet. But I think it's alright." Soobin smiled at Beomgyu.

"Then, I'll go and check how the Master is doing." Saying that he reached the door when Soobin stopped him by calling his name.

"Mr. Yang!" Soobin called.

"Yes, young master?" He asked and looked at him while standing beside the door.

"Thank you! Thank you for telling me all of these and for being beside my father for this long." Soobin thanked him very gently.

"Umn." He smiled and went away.

"Ah, right! Did you finish the assignment? It's due the day after tomorrow!" Beomgyu suddenly shouted as he remembered he didn't do the assignment either.

"Uh-huh!" Soobin shook his head negatively and replied.

"What should we do now? And how can we finish drawing so soon? Argh! This is so annoying!" Beomgyu acted all hyped up over nothing. Seeing him, Soobin smiled without noticing himself as he wanted to pat on the boy's head and console him.

"So, you didn't do it either!" Soobin smirked to tease him more.

"No! How could I? I was so worried about you that I couldn't do anything right! See? I didn't even shower for two days because of you!" Beomgyu stood up and said while pointing at himself. He suddenly started smelling himself if he was stinking.

"You were worried about me?" Soobin tried to stand up while saying.

"Of course! I was so worried!" Beomgyu pressed Soobin down as he didn't let him leave the bed.

"Really? But why?" Soobin asked in a gentle voice while he was obeying Beomgyu's order and sat down again.

"Because..." saying that Beomgyu looked at Soobin and noticed that he was very close to him. Suddenly his heart started beating faster. His face turned red just like a tomato.

"Hm?" Soobin came closer and asked with a puppy face. Beomgyu gulped. He wasn't sure about what he was feeling right that moment or why he was so nervous all of a sudden.

"B-because…" he couldn't give an answer. That's right! Now he was thinking why he was so worried about him? Was it because he was his friend? It could be because he was worried about Hueningkai some days ago too. But this time it doesn't feel that way. Maybe his way of thinking changed since he had the weird dream. He was in deep thought that he forgot to move his face which made Soobin blushed and gulped since it made him want to kiss the boy.

"Hahaha! Was that really a tough question?" Soobin pressed Beomgyu's head gently and moved away. Beomgyu also came back to his senses and moved away. Both of their hearts were beating faster as if they were racing to see whose heart could beat faster.

"Umm….I should go home now and get a shower." The situation suddenly became awkward since nobody had anything to say.

"I need to shower too. But I don't have any spare clothes. So, can you bring me some if you come next time?" Soobin said as if he was very sure that Beomgyu will come visit him again.

"Sure!" Beomgyu smiled and saying that he left. Soobin held his mouth and blushed when he thought he was about to kiss Beomgyu a while ago.

"Young Master! Master is awake." Saying that Mr. Yang came inside and seeing how Soobin was sitting while holding his mouth, he was surprised. He thought Soobin was going to throw up so he ran to him shouting, "Young Master! Are you okay?"

"Eh? Oh! Yeah!" Soobin removed his hand and said while acting everything was alright.

"I said, Master is awake. He wants to see you. Would you like to visit him? Or should I inform him that you're unwell?" He asked. Though he wanted to be gentle, his looks and his voice didn't let him win the gentleness.

"No, that's not necessary. I'll go." Soobin stood up finally and fixed his clothes(he was in a hospital gown).

"Don't sit up, just lay down." Soobin said to his father when he saw he was trying to get up though he wasn't feeling well.

"Can you stay with me for a while?" He asked, as if Soobin was his father and he was a little kid who needed to be taken care of.

"I'm here so don't worry." Soobin said in a gentle voice. He wasn't that angry with his father anymore. But he couldn't say anything.

"I live my whole life selfishly. I always thought I'll do something for others. But I couldn't at last. All I think about is me. When I lost my parents, I thought I needed a lot of money if I wanted to survive. And I earned. A lot. But what should I do with this wealth? I truly loved your mom. I wanted to give my all to her. But I failed. I killed her too. Just like others. With my hands. She died in my arms and I just saw her leaving. You say, if I die right now, can I meet her? Can I apologize to her? She didn't even come to haunt me." He was saying while mumbling. He stopped for a while and said again,

"Such bullshits!" (he referred to haunting as he doesn't believe in ghosts or spirits)

"Soobin-ah!" He looked at his son who was standing beside him. Soobin was looking at his dad for the whole time so he replied, "hm?" He tried to console his dad but no words came out of his mouth as he was too bad to console someone.

"You hate dad so much, right? Why didn't you say so? Why did you always obey me when you dislike what I told you to do?" He asked. But Soobin couldn't answer as he didn't know the answer.

"Did you take medicine?" He asked again.

"Oh, yeah!" Soobin realized he was also in a hospital gown so it was obvious that he was also sick.

"Soobin-ah! Sit near me, please?" He requested. Soobin obeyed his dad and sat beside him.

"Dad wants to make a will. I will give everything to you so please don't just leave me. Hm?" He requested again.

"Hey, why're you saying this like you're going to die?" Soobin finally opened his mouth and said surprisingly.

"You never know what'll happen in the future." He sighed.

"Same goes for me too. I could die before you! So, you can't say this yet. You're still young. If you take care of your health, you can live a long life." Soobin said in a forceful voice.

"Moreover, if you die everything will be mine anyways. So, there's no need to make a will!" Soobin said again.

"Then…. Are you willing to come back to our house?" His dad was surprised and sat down all of a sudden.

"Hm. Otherwise, who'd take care of an old fart like you?" Soobin blushed and said in a low voice.

"Thank you!" He hugged Soobin tightly.

"But, you said I'm still young a while ago so how come you call me an old fart?" He said in a loud voice.

"Okay okay, you're still young. I'm the one who's old! Just leave me now!" Soobin shouted and was trying his best to tie free.

"But, I have some conditions." Soobin said.

"I'll accept them all." His father freed him and said.

"Huh? Without even listening?" Soobin surprised. Because it wasn't his father's original self. Why did he change so much? Did something happen? He never allowed him to do anything on his own. He was always forced to do whatever his dad wanted.

"Hm. From now on, you're the boss and I'm your subordinate." Chang Won said.
