Lan didn't know for how long he had been running. As soon as he got to the wood, he indeed noticed a finely traced road.

It was a bit narrow and covered in greenery so if Lan didn't already there was a road, it might have gone over his head. But now he could see the clear path around the trees. He didn't waste any second to take it at full speed.

His stamina and speed had been greatly enhanced by his recovered spiritual energy. He knew he had been running for a few hours already, but it felt as if he had been strolling around for fifteen minutes.

Back in his world, Lan never liked physical activities, especially when it was required and graded for school. But if he had his current athletic abilities, it surely wouldn't have been so bad. He wouldn't be out of breath and near collapsing after running a couple of hundred meters.
