Misunderstanding

The sound of a wolf's howl sounded to the corner of the forest. Omnivore animals hide in line with nature and shelter. They are trying to defend the colony. Similarly, hungry wolves that do not stop howling give early warning. At least, he preyed with the mark first. Thus, indifference to their warnings can turn into a dangerous sign that their lives are nothing more than the blink of an eye.

"Uhuhk!"

Bumyen awoke after hearing a terrifying sound from a distance. His head was still throbbing in pain. He fell silent when he found a girl sitting on the beach staring at the sky that night sprinkled with stars.

"Are you awake, Captain?"

Bumyen's vocal cords suddenly got problematic when the girl sitting in front turned her head staring at him. He still didn't think the girl had survived the bite of a shark.

"Don't be afraid, I'm not a ghost."

Now the girl with wavy hair who enjoyed the night breeze from the sea is again enjoying the amazing view of the stars in the sky. Bumyen ventured to walk towards a mysterious girl who came from a country with a foreign name according to him.

"Don't move too much. You haven't really recovered yet."

Bumyen's legs stop next to the mysterious girl he suspects to be an intruder. He is actually still suspicious of the woman who now has a different aura when her skin is not as dark as on the ship. Maybe it's the seawater that makes the woman's skin a little cleaner than before.

"You too."

Bumyen tore off the hem of his shirt. He sat around to the intruder woman's hair which felt blocking the wound on the neck. Zahra- the intruder girl wasn't breathing when Bumyen tied her neck to cover the actual wound wasn't too severe.

"I don't want to be indebted to an intruder."

Zahra rose away from the seawater chasing tirelessly. She went to where Bumyen last rested. There, there are some fresh fruits and coconuts that are already open. Thanks to her ability to talk to animals, Zahra was able to ask them for help. Not everyone wants to, some are still willing to help.

"You climbed the coconut tree?!"

Bumyen closes his mouth when Zahra without offering a drink enjoys what the man thinks with unsubstantiated suspicion. If the throat could speak, maybe he would have notes Bumyen who still believes that Zahra is an intruder. So, the suspicion made him even thirsty when he saw Zahra drinking alone.

"Think of it that way."

Slurrrrp

Zahra's thirst was complete after the coconut water soaked her throat. She was really grateful to the monkeys who had been willing to fight the dangers of gravity by spoiling the tallest tree on the coast. This time the foreign voice disturbed the tranquility of the intruder woman who was enjoying a delicious dinner.

Kruukkk

Bumyen's hand wrapped around his stomach. His face followed the direction of the wind that blew to the South. Actually he only held back the embarrassment when the sound of his starving stomach sounded following the sound of the girl's burping curls.

"Eat."

Zahra switched to eating mangoes. She offered Bumyen so that the man's stomach was not rowdy asking the owner to fill with some nutrients. The curly-haired intruder woman wasn't like a bad guy who wanted to snatch something from her. But still, Bumyen put suspicion on every woman’s movements.

"You've been kind enough to give me food on board. Now, it's time for me to pay that debt."

Bumyen seemed doubtful. But the breeze of the night increasingly hit his stomach that was snouting. He has nothing to do as a fool. In fact, he was stranded in a foreign place, then helped by someone he had harmed. The waves pumped hard into the white sand. They laughed at the anxiety that held Bumyen's heart back from accepting the intruder woman’s offer.

"Are you still afraid of me?"

"No!" Bumyen replied loudly. "I'm just still suspicious of you! The woman with the origin is unclear..."

Zahra placed a mango on Bumyen's lap. "Just eat first. You think too negatively of strangers."

Bumyen's stomach screamed. The laughter of the intruder girl further aggravates the sound of her snout stomach. Looking down a little, Bumyen ate voraciously the mango that Zahra had given. He seemed eager to chew fibrous fruit rich in nutrients and vitaman C. Even Bumyen's hands were as unashamed as at the beginning, grabbing the other fruit that Zahra deliberately placed on the leaves near where Bumyen rested.

"You... From China?"

Bumyen nodded.

"So, your ship is going to take us to your country?"

"I want to meet Eng Kian." Bumyen's appetite began to evaporate. The clattering sound of bracelets on the feet with the strains of bamboo flutes led him to the shadow of the tyre-faced oriental girl.

"She's your mother?"

"My girlfriend," Bumyen said. "She's prettier than you."

That sentence would have no effect on Zahra's confidence. She is even more curious about the figure of Eng Kian--Bumyen's lover who is said to be beautiful.

"Nowadays if you want to be beautiful it's easy! As long as we have money, just choose the way we want."

"He's a natural!"

"What is skincare? Baby powder plus coffee? Ah, man where do you know!"

"She always wears fancy makeup and jewelry, but her face isn't much different when she wakes up."

"Akh, so you've never--"

"No!" Bumyen glared. He relaxes his muscles when refraining from the temptation of the intruder girl. "She was always waiting for me by the lake. We always take time to sit on the edge of the bridge. There, we faithfully waited for the sun to rise."

Zahra was astonished there were still such ancient customs. "Tacky," she commented.

"What's that tacky?"

"Seriously, don't you know?"

Bumyen shook his head. Zahra gawked at the people who didn't know what tacky was. In fact, although Bumyen uses Malay accents he still understands what is conveyed by each party.

"Emm, tacky it's like it's too much in displaying something. That's it, I think."

"Do you think?"

"Seriously! You're going to throw a coconut shell again, huh!" Zahra's hand was prepared on top of the coconut. Instead of not wanting to answer, Zahra just didn't know how to find the answer. No cell phones, internats, and quotas, then same as, Zonk!

"Why is this woman like you so rude? Your physique is very unsanable, Mrs."

"Huh, Mrs. Eh, isn't it wrong to know you called me that?"

"You are not an intruder. I think of you as a friend now."

Friend? Zahra was silent for a moment. She's only close to Ant. No one thought of her like a social creature as long as there was no Ant. Zahra is like a stranger wherever she is. The crowd has always been a quiet playground in the heart that never stops to another place. Zahra does not want to be friends with them, but the mismatch makes Zahra uncomfortable in a relationship with someone.

Bumyen enjoyed Zahra's dreamy face. The girl carved a new face in her mind.

"Tang Eng likes such expression when I intend to marry her."

Zahra's daydreams were distracted. The narrow eyes in front forgave her newly awakened consciousness. "He doesn't like you?"

"It's not like that," Bumyen said. "Both of his parents are prominent people in the Tang region. They're a very religious family. Tang Eng is of Islamic descent. He and his father have the same life guidelines."

"You're not a Muslim?"

Bumyen nodded. "I think Tang scary our relationship. That's why I'm here to pick tang up. I hope his parents will accept me who has tried so far."

Bumyen's relationship is incomprehensible to Zahra. She was just a high school student who never even tasted expressions of love from the opposite sex. Zahra's life was monotonous.

"Why not just convert?"

"That was my intention. And later, let the Tang parents make me their people."

Maybe that's the so-called spread of Islam through the path of marriage. During this time Zahra only knew from the lessons at school and some news from famous artists and people only. However, this time she heard it firsthand even when the people she met were not very familiar.

"Good intentions."

"Thank you."

The wind from the sea came caressing. Breaking the silence after Zahra and Bumyen's conversation. The rustling sound from behind the bushes nudged the alert button. Bumyen stood up to Zahra.

"Pigeons!" Zahra was so excited when she found out a white dove had emerged from inside the bush. "I knew you were coming!"

"Hi, Zahra?"

Now a white horse appeared from behind. Bumyen gaped at zahra who seemed calm stroking the head of a pigeon and the arrival of a clean-haired dashing horse.

"Did you bring me a new friend?"

White doves flew over the shoulders of the horse. "His name is Hans, and I'm Miko. We just agreed to help you."

Zahra was moved by the sentence Miko--white dove that she had snapped. The new talent she has turns out to bring her closer to things she never expected. Although it seems strange, but Zahra is grateful to have this privilege.

"Um! I will be very grateful to you!"

Bumyen felt the horror of seeing Zahra speaking to the two animals in front. He retreated step by step as his imagination began to wildly fantasize. Who would have known if Zahra was a madman? Or... That girl is not really a human being.

"Captain," called Zahra. The girl ran to pull Bumyen's cold sweaty hand. "Let's take me home!"

"Where is it?"

"Indonesia, my country!”
