MIA
It was nightfall when I finally reached home. Before returning home, I decided to work in the kitchen. I walked in to meet my mother, not looking pleased.
"You didn't come home last night," she pointed out.
"Oh, well, I was with Alex the whole time," I mused, fondling my hair as thoughts of the moments we had flashed through my head
"I thought you said He is the Prince?" she asked, puzzled.
"Yes, he is," I said with a grin.
She exhaled a sigh. "What happened?" she inquired.
"He wants me to be his queen," I said, her eyes wide with surprise. "Oh, mother, I'm so happy," I exclaimed.
She didn't seem to be affected by the news, as evidenced by the lack of emotion on her face.
"Aren't you pleased, Mother?" I inquired.
She exhaled a sigh. "Of course I am," she replied with a short smile. "I'm a little worried," she added.
"What do you mean?" I was curious.
