VERONICA

My name is Veronica Casper, and I come from a family of four, which includes me, my big brother, my mom, and my dad.

We are Americans, but my dad is Black, while my mom is white.

I also have a best friend named Sam. He is a guy, and we have been best friends since middle school. It's easy to be friends with Sam because he doesn't have any dislikes.

Before I forget, I am seventeen years old and attend Addison High. I live in Washington, America, and my number one dream has always been to become a cheerleader and the queen bee of my school. Unfortunately, those roles have been given to Cindy, the girl who believes she is the hottest and prettiest in our school.

Cindy carries herself like a queen, you know what I mean. She is also blonde, which is why she was chosen as both a cheerleader and the cheer captain.

I happen to have long black hair, and a lot of people love it because it is both shiny and very long.

Now, let's talk about my big brother, Liam. He is overprotective, as any reasonable older brother would be. While it can be fun sometimes, it's also very annoying. I don't know if you understand what I mean, but he tends to take things too seriously.

Now, let's discuss the hot guys—or should I say, the "gang" in my school? This group consists of seven rich, handsome, and famous guys: Blake Morgan, Oscar Morgan, Kelvin Chris, Hayden Scott, and Adam Smith.

Oscar and Blake are not related; they just happen to have the same last name. Above all, we have two cousins, Hunter Bush and Bryan Klein. They are incredibly attractive, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's hard to choose who is more handsome.

Well, don't think I'm not popular. I am because I talk to the bad guys, football players, and the basketball team (if that's what it means to be famous, lol). However, I don't talk to the seven guys mentioned above.

I don't dislike them, but if you're not careful around them, you might end up being their errand boy or girl—or even worse. You don't want to know what that means.

Anyway, I will be right back. Duty calls...
