Meeting Pt 2

I thought of the plot while I walked towards Mr. Quinn's office. In the plot, Teirrah had A chance to start over. A chance to leave the school that happened to be attended by almost all the main and supporting characters. She had the opportunity to leave an okay life if only she gave up on her love for the male lead, but she didn't, after all, every story needs chaos to attract readers, and what is better than reading about the protagonist fight against the antagonist and win.

And with the way authors of these kinds of stories tend to stuff all the characters in the classroom, she wouldn't have been made to take up the chance. How else was the villainess supposed to scheme against the heroine if they were in completely different schools?

Although a relative of the Quinn was able to marry into the powerful Suriv family and Teirrah was able to become childhood friends with Aron that did not mean that the Quinn's and the Suriv were on the same level. The Suriv were considered to be among the top tier families, while the Quinn were still fluctuating between the third and fourth tier. So the opportunity to go to the illustrious Great oak high school can only be given to one family member of the Quinn family with the level of influence they have.

*Knock, Knock*

"Come in" I heard a reply from the room.

Opening the door, I stepped in. The office theme was brown mixed with black. I could see it was everywhere. I saw him sitting on a chair behind a black table filled with documents. The room gave off an intimidating presence with how it screamed don't touch anything here.

I sat on the brown sofa available and looked towards Mr. and Mrs. Quinn.

"You called"

"Unfortunately, we have bad news for you" Mr. Quinn stated with a cough

"You may not know, but we only have enough influence for one slot at this school, and recently with the way you haven't been doing well in school, we decided to give this opportunity to your sister" Mr. Quinn concluded with an air of finality.

"But don't worry, we have already registered you at Laguna creek Academy High" Mrs. Quinn rushed to include with a guilty expression,

"It might not be the top, but it is still one of the best and besides there are rumours of you offending the young master of the Suriv family"

" I think it is best you avoid him for now so as not to increase his dissatisfaction towards us, especially at a time when I am trying to increase the level of my company" Mr. Quinn continued on.

"You may be disa..."

"I agree," I said, cutting him short

"what" He bellowed with a confused look

" I said I agree with what you said. You are very correct. I don't know what came over me then. I would not want to do anything that would affect us negatively. Furthermore, I also want to take this opportunity to apologize for my previous behaviour. It would not happen again" I said with what I hope was a determined expression.

"Oh...oh... Of course, we forgive you Teirrah" She choked out with a disbelieving expression. How could she not? She knew how in love past Teirrah was with Aron. I continued on in an attempt to convince her.

"After some time thinking in the hospital, I had realized how badly obsessed I was with him. It even affected my studies, so I want to change. And I don't want to disappoint you" I lied with a straight face. I didn't care about them anymore. All I needed was their money-

"But I will still need to go tomorrow as there are some important things left in my locker"

"Yes. Yes of course" She said with a relieved tone

"It is good that you understand. You can go and rest down" Mr. Quinn said, probably trying to sound caring. He probably expected a struggle.

I wouldn't give them that. The Plot Teirrah had. She had gone as far as to beg her uncle to use his influence to let her continue to go to the school, which further destroyed his image of her and affected her standing in the Rich people society and with the students attending the school.

"Thank you. Have a good night"

*Behind the scenes*

"It is good that she now realizes that he was out of her league. It will make what is bound to happen easier to accept" I thought while remembering the amicable relationship Eva now shares with Aron. I smile at the thought. It would be very helpful for my business.
